Re: Tight games still profitable?

[ QUOTE ]
Adapt, turn from TAG to LAG and start running over people w/ aggression, once people start loosening up, the game will get good and you can TAG up and get paid off, I do this all the time....

Re: I just raise/folded my flush on the turn. Wow.

I agree fold preflop. Are you an action junkie as this is only your third hand at a new table. There is no need to gamble with 76s just yet or hardly ever in this position. Then all your problems...

Re: ATs vs LAG

if there is a bet from the villian and a raise behind its an easy fold. This is not a hand you want to play out of position. That is why I like the check play. It allows you to define you postion in...

Re: ATs vs LAG

first to answer the 3 bet preflop question? Why 3 bet it from out of position against 3 opps. The villain may not have much but I can see one of the callers with AJ or AQ.
Second leading the flop...

Re: QQ-Question

so you both have over 100bbs you need to have a good read on your opp. Otherwise folding here is a big mistake. I would make a reraise to about 35xs bb. You need to takes some gambles to win a...

Re: Making up the implied odds on the river

yes you both are correct here. So that means if you do not believe you can get 12.80 more from your opp on the river then a fold would be the correct play.

Re: It was my fault for flopping a set

cap it for sure set over set oh well. If they continue to bet on the river calling is fine. Cap turn call on river or bet if checked 2

Re: Obvious river raise?

I would of like seeing a larger bet on the turn. 3/4 pot or more something like 25 would be good. The river is an easy call. No need to raise here. Unless my opp has 99 10 10 45 or 78 they cant call....

Re: 25/5/ Blind Battle vs. Stinger

whats his ranges of hands here? playing it so soft gives so little info. If your going to call call fold, why not put in a small raise on the flop to see if you J is good? Looks to me like you were...

Re: 100NL DEEP AA vs uber nit

fisrt of all if he weak tight then hes not reraising you from the sb with AK. It would be more likely QQ. Second if he is weak tight and will fold to you bet on the flop but you feel a bet on the...

Re: Donks don\'t have a brain, right?

what kind of hand do you expect him to call a reraise with, that you can beat? Calling is clearly the best option.

Re: 3/6 standard set fold???

Hand was played well up to the river. Make a 1/3 pot bet hear maybe a little less. You check opend the door for so many bluffs. Of the range of hands he may 3 bet how many can you beat that he would...

Re: 400NL 78s on button turn decision

yes take the free card. What happens when you bet and get raised by the UTG player who you fear has a set. The only other play is to push in to try and win it there. But I still like the check and...

Re: Live $100 Is AKs good considering action in front?

you guys are all crazy. lol
EP raise from LA who has to move soon = wide range of hands. If the MP player is solid as you say he knows this and could be trying to isolate him with a weak...

Re: Set of Aces

Dont be so result orientated!!!! You played the hand well preflop. I don't like the check on the flop. Most people expect you to bet there. Plus that flop AQ10 has a lot of dangerous cards that could...

Re: Per Hour Rate

I agree 1-2 bb per hr is a fair number. But you should not have much of a problemb doing this playing solid poker. I think playing to tight isa problemb most of the time. Your better of playing tight...
