Re: A Poker Player in Therapy

If you don't even keep stats you're obviously not a very serious player and though you could play like that and win a couple years ago you simply are getting outplayed now. Either play just for fun,...

Re: Happy Thanksgiving I hope you swallow a car bomb.

Canadian/mortgage/no job but poker

How are people on here getting mortgages? In canada, even if you have a large down payment of over 50% they still want to verify your income through tax returns to see that you can pay your mortgage....

Re: Beat: AA twice in last 29 live tourneys

[ QUOTE ]
I have been dealt AA a total of two times in my last 29 live tourneys, covering $78K in buy-ins. I don't know if Guinness keeps track of this particular stat, but this has to be a world...

Re: possible for winning player to become permanently losing?

Highly doubt you ran hot for that long. I imagine you've ran quite badly and started playing poorly as well. Take a break for a few days, cut down on the number of tables you're playing until you get...

Josem,

You remind me with every post why I hate politician's.

The last two months of HH's will not show anything. If he's cheating, he's not doing it on his account.

But the only reason he is even embroiled in this is...

Re: AP infinity plus one - New AP Statement

While I understand what you're trying to say, I don't think this is a great way of thinking. If AP is dead to you, I don't understand why you care anyway.

Re: AP infinity plus one - New AP Statement

So do the Mohawks who own AP have anybody in Costa Rica actually overseeing the company? Or is AP totally run by consultants?

Re: AP Visit: I\'m going to Costa Rica

If this has to be done it should be done right by them.

Re: Absolute Poker\'s Official Response to \"superuser\" allegations

Re: supernova visual recognition

I definitely agree with Bob. I also think that other good or mediocre players won't care at all. They already have PT and PA and a lot will also realize that just because someone is SN doesn't mean...

Re: STAT POST: my first 10k hands at 1/2

You should be about 30/20. So raise more and don't ever limp unless 2 or more already have. Don't call raises in the sb, either 3 bet or fold.

Postflop is very hard to tell from stats but you're...

Re: Another potential piece of the AP puzzle

Has anyone got all of the HH's of all the players and put them together to get a bigger sample size? If there was more like 3k hands it would be a lot harder to see it as luck than 500.

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)

I can't see how it isn't someone working at/owning AP. That's why his accounts aren't closed, why he's so dumb, how he knows about the threads and how he has access in the first place. I'd expect him...

Re: Stats for my first 10K hands

You're so tight preflop that your other stats will be totally off. So other than playing at least double the hands and raising 3 times as much it's impossible to say.

Re: God this feels weak/tight...

I don't know if I like the preflop call although I'm confused if this is utg 6 handed or he's utg+1 which makes it a little better. Without a read there's no way I'd fold. Bet the turn and call a...
