Re: Luring tells

I generally think that sojmeone asking how much I have left is a huge tell. If it is pf it means that they have a small/mid pocket pair and are figuring whether they have odds to hit a set. On the...

Re: any chance of getting a POT LIMIT hold \'em game going in AC?

I would definately play in such a game. Having learned to play in Europe, I like PLHE and PLO. I'm in NYC now and can go to AC pretty much anytime. Feel free to PM me if you are going to try to...

Re: 5/10nl live skill level is to _______ online

This is probably the 87,000th time the live vs. online debate has been done to death on these forums. There is no "right" answer and no way to "prove" which is tougher. The skill sets overlap but...

Re: Played Poker With A White Supremacist Last Night

Rebluffing In Dangerous Spots

I'm not sure the best forum for this and it may be too much of a "you had to be there" hand to be interesting but I have been wondering about it.

This hand was played the day before the EPT...

Seinfeld made everyday life worth watching. I wonder if this new poker movie delivers on the realism of poker rooms. You know, the guy sitting at the table picking his nose before grabbing...

Re: Foxwoods 5/10 NL slowplayed set against guy who can bluff

I would take a step back here. When this flop comes down, your goal should be to get all of the money in on this hand. The analysis should be made with that in mind. Ideally, you want to get it in...

Re: pot limit specific scenario - my mistake, i think

A bit of a gray area, but usually if it is multiple chips (i.e. the one chip rule does not apply) that would be a raise. Saying something removes the ambiguity.

London can be very nitty on stuff...

Re: Atlantic City (Borgota) or Foxwoods??

Edit: but traffic sucked yesterday. It took me 4.5 hours...
