Thanks for the replies, it should help me get a good start. The prof has a tendency to make us program things that aren't relevant to the AI itself so I doubt we can use the open source code...

Sammy played Brian $1000/$2000 mixed PLO and NLHE. If he couldn't beat 5-10 NL, I'm pretty sure Brian could have folded nearly every PLO hand and still have a big enough edge in NLHE to make it +EV....
