Re: AQs

Raise flop. I would treat that min bet on the flop as a check. Take control of the betting of the hand.

Re: 50NL AQs rivers flush;villian check calls flop, checks turn, CRAI river

Tough spot. His low AF scares me a bit but 50 hands isn't much. I would call. He probably isn't giving you credit for the flush so he would make this play with any J or lower flush.

I missed...

Re: alignment help

Laying clubs on the ground when you is helpful. Just make sure you align them parallel to your target line not at your target. Take your time to get it right this is one of the variables in golf...

Re: 25NL - flush draw turns into str8 flush draw

I would lead the flop. Helps disguise your hand if you hit. That dictates the play of the hand. As played ch/c turn, ch/f river.

Re: 25NL - QQ vs. A,K board

I would keep betting as both the K and the A are scare cards to him. Especially, bet if you are planning on calling anyway.

Re: 25NL - pair+str8 draw by the turn

Tough hand OOP. I would lead the flop for 2 reasons: 1-if no one has an A you take it down. 2-You may get a free card on the turn.

I would ch/f turn but, this may be a time to get aggressive...

Re: NL50: TT floped a set on AJT board, what\'s best way to play it?

[ QUOTE ]
Betting any smaller than the pot on the turn here just lets villan draw to cheaply and probably leaves you about comitted anyway, I think I just shove here as well.

Re: $50NL: Playing flopped set with QQ

I assume he had A-5 or 5-6 and he hit a gutshot. You got the $ in, don't 2nd guess that. He probably wouldn't have folded to a larger flop bet anyway.

Re: What\'d You Shoot Today? (Golf BBV Thread)

71 yesterday from the tips. 92 today from blues (1 up). WTF. I am a mental midget. Played with 2 guys who swung out of their shoes and couldn't even come close to finding my tempo. Too much...

Re: The ladies tees...

Playing from the ladies tees is a great idea. Helps break any mental barriers you (I definetely) have about going low.

Re: 50NL: I want to pick off a bluff, have reads, can I?

If hand was played in a vacuum I would strongly consider a fold but his play raises some suspicions. Tough to turn down the odds especially given the bit of history you have. I'd call

Re: Back into the swing of things - Flush draw OOP

Strange. What about a pot sized raise on the turn? Although, you would think that he would at least call a medium sized bet on the river given he's min raised twice.

Re: Multi-tabling

I am no expert but personally I think any more than 2 tables when you are trying to learn is detrimental. You won't be able to develop your thought processes enough. I would invest in Pokertracker...

Re: i have quads (and i lost)

I would try to tie him to the pot earlier. If he has a draw or likes his TP he is coming with you regardless. Bet $2 on flop and on the turn bet $6 or even put him all in. The only way you are...

Re: $25nl TPWK meet overcard OOP

I was leaning towards ch/f but, it is closer than I first thought. Could very well be a flush draw out there and you're chopping with all the K's except K-9. You could take another stab at this...

Re: Trips River Decision

That is exactly how most micro's play a flush draw. I would guess he has a flush here more than 70% of the time which would lead me to fold.

6 players to the flop with in a raised pot. Wow! ...

Re: 25NL: Turned Straight, River Pairs

I assume you are debating between a call and a push. I certainly wouldn't consider folding here getting 3:1. I can't see him playing a set this passively against this drawy a board. In that case you...
