Re: 100NL: JJ calldown, how`s my line

Reraise this preflop, especially 5 handed. I don't think checkraising the river folds out any hands that beat you...QQ, KK, and AA are calling, and AK and other pocket pairs are probably folding.

Re: Fold Flush?

I agree that it's close, but I call...AA, AKd, AQd are all reasonable possibilities (maybe even 44, who knows with a [censored] pf minraise).

Re: 400: What a Sweet Ending

I understand your reasoning, but I'm still betting the flop here just about every time...a 15/12 is showing up with JJ or QQ here a lot more than AA, and you're leaving money on the table. As...

Re: Playing AQ preflop at 10nl (general strategy question)

One more question...with AQ or AQs in position vs unknown raisers in early/middle pos., what's our line? Is either reraise or fold close to the same in terms of EV? What about with AJ/AJs?

Playing AQ preflop at 10nl (general strategy question)

What's the best way to play AQ preflop at 10nl? Obviously, if you're first in or following limpers, you raise, but how do you respond to a reraise? What about if there's a raise in front of you? ...

Re: NL10. Turn brings flush but pairs board, now what?

Definitely raise the turn, bet more on the river. I would also raise the flop, but I think calling behind is OK, too.

Re: 25 NL AK RRRed pf

Definitely fold...this is AA/KK most of the time, maybe QQ once in awhile, but not enough to make a call profitable. I'll occasionally shove AK vs a LAG, but an 18/10? Yuck...

Re: $200 NL live @ Foxwoods AA in a huge pot OOP

I played in a game just like this in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. I'd make it $80 preflop. As played, bet 200 on the flop, get the rest in on the turn.

Re: NL25 - Nice spot to bet?

I'd check the turn behind...I want to get to a cheap showdown with that hand. I'd call a bet on a safe river, as villain is aggressive and may bluff river with busted draws.

Re: QQ ugly flop 50nl

I'm always c-betting the flop after 3betting pre, but I'd bet a bit more ($10-12). I also check the turn. I probably fold the river, but with the price you're getting, calling is likely fine, too.

Re: NL50: QQ again. Too Nitty??

Against a 62/10, I'm getting it all-in on the flop every time in this situation. Your overpair does very well against his range, even with a flop this coordinated. As played, I'm pushing on the...

Re: NL 50 folding 444 on river

IMO your play here is definitely too weak. You're beating overpairs, two pair, and lower sets. As played, I don't see how you can fold for $12 into $35. Any stats/reads on villain?

Re: Shove? 1/2 100 max NL live

I definitely shove here...four people calling an EP 10BB raise is gross, but you're still likely to have the best hand. With $97 left, nothing else makes sense to me.
