Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD NOV***

Ask her what it is. The best way to deal with it is just to talk about it with her. If you can't communicate with this person than a lot of problems are just going to stay unresolved and will lead...

Re: can i sustain my current lifestyle? (workaholic)

When I turned 16 I got a job at Target. I remember getting a check for $200 and thinking it was great. Then I started playing poker and was able to easily make $200 in a night. Now I make $80 an...

Re: 100NL: Routine overpair shove on drawy board

[ QUOTE ]
yes, standard. would play the same with AA. This is also fine with 100BB against an opponent like you describe. 150bb+ I flatcall the flop raise though.

Re: 100NL: Routine overpair shove on drawy board

I like the play because we are beating such a wide range of hands that he could be reraising. I don't ever fold in that spot for 65bb player.

If you just calling on the flop is bad because a lot...

Re: Raising Limpers - Button

I open all except K10o... if i haven't been active at the table I will open K10o and if i have been more active than usual I will limp or raise less w/ 87s to build a big multi-way pot.

Re: please read if you are a supernova

The freerolls wont keep me playing at stars since I don't play tournaments. Any type of decent cash bonus will keep me at stars since I play cash games (it will also allow tournament players to use...

Re: I dont like being raised ($25nl 6 handed)

After being annoyed by the check min raise i realized that most of the time this means top pair or better.
Think about the logic behind minreraising out of position. If you were to min cr someone...

Re: AA facing flop raise on drawy flop, poker stove analysis.

I disagree that the standard line is to get all-in. It all depends on your opponent and a lot of the 50nl players have trouble folding top pair so playing AA fast v them is +ev.

Re: Top Pair + OE Straight draw

Re: Top Pair + OE Straight draw

Don't shove,
-you are in position so it is way harder for him to bluff you on the river.... if he is betting he probably has you beat
-if you shove you are going to be over-betting the pot

I...

Re: Winning small pots, losing big pots...

You are showing how you feel about your hand through the way you size your bets.
Pre-f you like it
Flop you bet 2/3 so you like it
Turn you be 1/2 pot....becoming scared
River.....bet 1/4 pot...

With the history I get it all in there.
-Does anyone think that the 3 bet is too small?
-What does everyone do if you are facing this bet with QQ?
