Re: *** Official December Chat Thread: One Last Swong ***

Say what? I thought I made a mistake in this hand. The two hands are quite similar... so was it a cooler then?

Re: NL50 - AA on connected board

Then I guess I am pretty lost with this line... Could you say some situations where you would b/f?
What makes here checking better? Maybe it is too likely that I'm beat here if I get called/raised?...

Re: 50NL Another extraction Question - Flopped set

Umm, did I misread the action or what?

Why did you check the flop? You couldn't expect a bet from CO because he only called a PF raise. He's the only player behind you. By checking don't you give...

Re: 50NL - KK vs UTG raiser

I think you did a really good job putting Rapid on AA. It's really the only hand that he can have after he reraises to $23 assuming that he plays tight UTG and doesn't open with lower pairs. But...

Re: 50NL fold Aces here? (ugh I hate saying that!!)

Okay I think I understand what you are saying. You think that after you reraise on the flop, he puts you exactly on the hand that you have, an overpair. And he still pushes.

Well let's get back to...

Re: 50NL fold Aces here? (ugh I hate saying that!!)

Lol it's from jailbait. You mean different=not hot? I feel insulted :-) (although Coordi's previous avatar was the absolute best, I acknowledge that...)

we're getting little OT here... :-)

Re: 50NL: AQs flops nut flush draw (line check)

I guess you should bet bigger on the flop since you have 50%+ equity, you'll have more FE with a bigger bet, and building the pot? The downsides are that you are OOP and you may drive off a smaller...

Re: NL25 - Are these good folds

Could you please elaborate on the c/c part in the 3rd hand? Why not cbet? c/f is too weak since we likely have the best hand here?

Re: NL25 - Are these good folds

In the first hand definitely reraise more than that, like 3-3.5 but then if he bets I think you can safely fold there.

Idk about the second one. It's kinda hard OOP. On the river though you only...

Re: NL25 - overpair on monotone board

I agree that it is very unlikely for villain to have AA,KK here. However I think that since his PFR is so low he could have actually 22-JJ based on his preflop actions. But you're right with this AF...

Re: NL25 - overpair on monotone board

I wasn't too happy either when he raised me. But I don't really know how accurate his AF is considering that its a small sample and the AF of a player with high VPIP will be naturally lower. Anyway...

Re: NL25 - JJ overpair on the flop

Raising to $6 is +EV if villain has AK here more than 46%(6/13.1 right?) of the time(Assuming that he folds AK to a raise and we shutdown if called). That's quite close I think as there are 16...

Re: What happen to PokerStars? Massive Fish invasion?

Yeah, I think that's right you get 1 FPP per ~7 hands. But if you have a few hands in PT you can always check it on the game notes tab by filtering for hands in which the rake is more than $0.4(you...

NL25 - JJ overpair on the flop

No reads on villain. My hand could be good if his range is QQ+, AK, but if we get all-in here I am most likely beaten. So I am not commited. A raise would turn my hand into a bluff I guess. But if I...
