Re: really basic bvb

I like giving villain the opportunity to fold his six outer before seeing the river, so I raise the flop or the turn. I prefer on the flop, since the thought of putting three bets in on the turn...

Re: standard river spot with 66

B/F and B/C seem bad.

I hate folding, so I usually C/C, but I kinda hate calling here since I think he checks hands like AQ and AK on the river.

Re: QQ 1/2

I agree with calling down after the flop three-bet, but I can see why you capped the flop since only a total 'tard would play a 4 like this.

Re: 77 in mw-pot the board pairs on turn

I'm pretty much looking to showdown my hand here in a large pot close to 100% of the time (unless SB suddenly wakes up and raises somewhere). I hate the idea of putting three bets in on the turn, so...

Re: Should I have folded on the turn?

PF is an easy raise.

The flop is in an easy c/r. This board is drawy and you'll get called down here by as little as King high here IMO. Obviously the turn card sucks, but I usually can't fold...

Re: 77 in 4 way multi

I would have limped preflop.

Flop raise looks good.

QQ - 4 bet too much?

Villain was 20/20 through only 30ish hands.

Is my four bet too big? Should I just smooth call and look to get it in on a good flop?

Villain was fishy 75/5/1.2 through 30 hands. Liked to donk bluff flops with air.

Should I bet the turn to charge a diamond draw? Is the river a fold?

I'll ignore preflop for now

What's wrong with preflop? I probably would have played it the same.

Re: OOP free card play

[ QUOTE ]
Sorry, but I think its pretty bad. Just c/c c/f and get a free river fairly often. This will also spare you the grief of calling a flop 3-bet

[/ QUOTE ]

Why even c/c this flop?

Mediterranean cruise?

Myself and a friend are thinking about taking a cruise on the Mediterranean sea in mid-December. The plan is to spend three days on land (was thinking Spain or Italy) and 4-5 days on a cruise. The...

Re: OOP free card play

I'd like this play if you have screw played or sexied him earlier. If not, I'm not a fan. (Even with some history, I don't really like it all that much.) FPS IMO.

Re: grade the level of poker thinking in this explanation

Hero's assumptions about what villain's PF range is could be way off depending on if villain views hero as weak postflop.

Re: Couple of hands 100 NL

How were you responding to a PSB on the turn in hand 1?

Why not go for a checkraise on the flop in hand 3?

Edit: In hand 2 if the turn was a blank and villain shoved are you calling?
