Re: My hand is face up right?

Seems like a pretty easy fold IMO, if you are ahead it is barely and if you are behind you are pretty much drawing dead.

I like the way you played the flop with the raise of the donk, but then you...

Re: whats better to call or shove this flop

I have no doubt that shoving is definately +EV, but calling with such a monster might actually be better.

Obviously if you hit a K on the turn you will be free-rolling against maybe 2-3 here, or a...

Re: iPoker quirks..

[ QUOTE ]
One other thing I forgot to mention is their raise system is differant to other poker sites.. its a 'raise' not 'raise to' (ie it adds your raise amount to what you have in front)..
why...

Re: iPoker quirks..

Yeah that isn't a betting cap, just that his raise wasn't a full raise so it couldn't be re-raised. If you were allowed to raise it, now that would be a problem.

The posting SB is usually when the...

Re: NL100 KK against 4bet

The thing is you don't need all that high of implied odds here, because we are very confident that your opponent has exactly AA here, it is different than the cases in your link where we don't know...

Re: N200, two baby flushes against halfstacks...lets get it in or not

This would have to be pretty deep before I don't get it in.

Against 100bb or less this is a snap decision, re-raise in hand 1 and push in hand 2.

Re: NL50 KQo Donks into 4way pot, gets raise by PFR

with 2 cold callers already I don't mind the PF, that being said you are in terrible position so you need to be alot more cautious post flop.

You flopped something, but again you still don't have...

Re: NL50 - Sick spot vs Maniac

I see this stuff all the time on iPoker even at higher limits, don't know why but they love this move there.

Anyway this is a fold, I wait for a better spot. If it was a K instead of an A, it is a...

Re: how much to keep online

I think american players have a much harder time, because it is much more difficult to reload so I suggest keep more at least 50% more than your standard acceptable bankroll for the stakes/games you...

Re: NL25 Trap set, but did i bet enough?

I wont comment on the PF.

The flop is terrible, what is with the weiner bet? well you got weiner raised, now what?? You made a realish raise so you will stack off overpairs (would have probably...

Re: How bad is this?

Yeah, well your opponent seems like a loon. Obviously his PF strategy freezes you (it would freeze me too) as does his post flop nasty play with his mini-bets, I don't mind the way you played it...

Re: FH, Standard fold?

I've folded boats before, but that would never cross my mind in a situation like this. This is a re-raise AI without thinking about it.

Re: Bonus Whores Grades (NL/PL 6 Max)

The question is why do none of the sites get an A or A+?

Because the BH system rates against the Party of old in terms of average pot sizes (around 3 years ago, which also counted uncalled bet in...

Re: Full Ring : which site to choose

iPoker is full of regulars at Full ring, the games especially 100/200 NL are pretty dry nowadays. The short handed games are pretty good though.

OnGame is pretty much the softest site around, next...

Re: Flop check is killing me

bet the flop as your standard play, especially against an unknown.

Anyway that turn card looks really good to me, call here and call the river, I don't really see the problem.

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (11/12 - 500k Buyin - Part 2 Spoilers aho

As for the Gold, PA hand it was really a cooler here, top set versus a gut shot, that's what implied odds are all about.

Gold should have bet more on the flop, but I doubt betting 30, versus 15...

What do you think about Sammy - PA hand where sammy had straight flush draw while PA was betting with small pair?

Sammy missplayed it, IMHO.

Re: How bad is this?

jebus, fold PF seriously, you can't take that much heat.

The 3-bet isn't terrible, but against 50bb stacks I like the call better. Even with the 3-bet you need to fold with it is 4-bet and called...

Re: [NL 50] TPgk - please check my line

This looks pretty good, reads help but I am not going to war here with this hand and would fold to more "manly" bets.

I can't fold to these bets ever, and raising is dependent on reads.

Also...

Re: Best line with AJo facing an UTG raise?

The best line is to fold here, I hate AJ especially against a tightish UTG raise, calling is bad, raising is also bad.

Re: How did I play this hand?

Because SB is short, I just put it in on the flop. Deeper I think your line is very good.

Re: NL25 - Nit open shoves full stack... I have QQ

There was a regular nit how had like 9/1/1 stats that I played with how I noticed starting to open shove his stack with only AA, I was shocked how often he actually got called.

With QQ here I...
