Re: Very short stacking NL cash

Everest for example allows 10bb buy in. I had a couple of small sessions today, leaving when I got above 15 bb. I noticed that players were generally folding too much, so I started shoving 100% of my...

Very short stacking NL cash

Do you think it could be profitable to very shortstack HU NL cash at NL 1000 or something?. I mean buying in for the minimum: 10bb.
For example open shoving at least any pair, any ace, any king,...

Re: Folding Aces on the river.

Raise flop and call a push. I think you have to call this river. You are getting over 2:1. Though I don't get his line, he may have a hand which you beat like AQ or QJ.

Re: Set of Queens, 200bb deep

I think river is an easy call. AK AQ AJ JJ and 88 are very plausible hands villain can have. If he has a flush it sucks, but he would have to call your threebet preflop with KJs.

Re: 200NL: set in a tricky situation

I would bet this flop but as played I like pushing. Villain doesn't have that much money left and I think you will see most likely two pairs or every now and then weaker sets very often. He doesn't...

Re: NL25 FR: top two facing turn agression, call down or no?

This really doesn't have to be a set. (29 hands also aren't nearly enough hands for stats) AK, AQ or flush draw are possible. A6s or A5s are also possible. I would just push this on the turn.

Re: $1/$2 live: TT on a Q high board. Committed?

I think you can call here. You have to win 27.5 % of the time to make this a profitable call. If you are behind you will make your set about 9% of the time, so you have to be ahead only 18,5 % of the...

2 hands against loose passive

Both hands I was up against a very loose passive player with a VPIP above 70 % and an agression factor of 0.5. He had been running very hot and had won over 40 bb's in last 40 hands.
He was the...

Re: Two pair against possible flush

The surprising answer is Q2 for a full house made on the turn and river :S. Pretty ridiculous I think /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Two pair against possible flush

I think I agree I had to bet/fold the river. Thx for the opinions/explanation.
Anyone wants to guess Villain's hand?
(The answer will be surprising /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Re: How many bets?

Well... the converter is a little messed up. The pot wasn't $50 /images/graemlins/smile.gif. It was about $10.
I agree I just should have bet the flop. Don't know why I didn't. Also it's clear to...

Re: Time to give up on my small pair?

Do you think it is better to check-raise a late position bet than just folding? I can hardly imagine that. You may get a lot of players holding two unpaired overcards to fold, but every queen will...
