$200NL Turned Set vs Habitual Slow Player

Opponent is somewhat tricky, but my notes indicate he loves to slow play. The button raise could mean anything, but the check behind scared me more than the typical c-bet. What's the correct line on...

$200 NL Top 2 on Monochrome flop

No reads on Qpponent yet. MP3 is your typical LAG and was leading out on lots of flops with this weak bet. Am I ever ahead on the river here?

Re: some standard MTT situations - looking for advice

No way I can fold TT there, but calling probably induces other calls and TT multi-way is tough with no T on board. If all those hands are from the same tourney the button looks like he mixes up...

Re: WSOP Pay Per View

I hope they fix this soon. I need to buy it and set the Tivo before work tomorrow.

$50 NL Facing All-in On River

All I beat here is AK. I don't think he plays KT preflop to a re-raise. Can I call here? No reads on the opponent.

Re: unraised pot turn check behind

With that check how do you play the river? I have to bet into this pot or fear being blown off the hand on the river. Maybe 1/2 PSB at this point.

200NL Facing All In on Flop

No experience with this player at all. I wasn't worried about the min lead on the flop. How do you play this flop?

Re: Poker Superstars Championship III airs Superbowl Sunday

Brutal beat for Carlos on the end there. J on the river knocks his AK out vs Mike's AJ.

Re: Very strange action with KK, facing sudden bet on the river

Why no bet on the flop? You can't put him on a 9 calling that re-raise. JJ is more likely but I can't say he's on AA. Wouldn't he make this move preflop once you announced your big hand?

Neteller impacts changes in play?

In playing the $100NL tables at Stars, I've already seen some frustrated chip dumping. One player actually stated he wanted people to take his money since we couldn't pull it out anyway. I was then...

No mention of the deal here. Interesting way of putting how things ended. Congrats on the windfall JB.

Re: aa facing overbet

Does he minraise preflop with a hand like JTs? I think that's a calling hand with a call in front. Maybe JJ minraises, but I tend to agree with orange that KQ or something with a straight and fush...

Re: Should I slow play here?

I agree. You bet here and hope someone with PP sticks around.

I think the better question is how do you encounter resistance here? If someone sees you as tight, and views the re-raise pre-flop as...

Re: $3.30 Stars Re-buy

My thought pattern was in line with everyone here. I needed a bigger stack to make the real money, this was a good chance to increase the stack.

I called, and he held 6c4c and had flopped the...

$3.30 Stars Re-buy

This hand came up a few levels afer the bubble burst. I feel like I had a LAG image as I had just been caught, but was lucky to double up w/QJ vs TT and stole the pot immediately before this one....

Re: Two Pair facing all in on river

I think the missed bet on the flop forces you to fold here. He very easily could be holding something like Ah8h, Kh8h or 88, all of which have you beat here. Without betting the flop, you missed the...

Help on flop

I don't have a lot of history with UTG here. From the session today he has been limp calling a lot preflop. What am I facing here with his re-raise?
