Re: 2/4, nine to the flop with AA...

[ QUOTE ]
On the other hand, do you think AQ, KQ, JQ, TQ might raise you?

[/ QUOTE ]

It is a possibility but not very distinct. When playing live players usually do not raise three people...

Reraise on the turn, hope some of them drop out. If you get capped, call down unless the river is ugly, like a Q, a diamond, or a 3. Even though they are passive it is difficult to know...

Re: The Grouch with Elevens on the Button

Knowing when to lay down bullets is a sign of a maturing poker player.

I don't think this is applicable to limit since you lay down aces almost never. Although I admit this...

Re: 5/10: I decided to make a move

I agree with Xhad, bluffing donkeys is expensive. I wouldn't raise the turn, you picked up very nice and very well hidden flush and gutshot straight draws. Being 3-bet on the turn sucks because you...

Re: JJ against KK on the flop

Just call the turn raise and the river bet (bet the river if checked). There is no sense to 3-bet with intension to fold to the cap. You spend the same money calling down.

So what hand do you put him on? AK? KQ? What kind of hand he can play this way (assuming he is a reasonable player)?

Re: A7o Blind Steal

I'm folding to the turn donk without reads. You are behind here too often. With just overcards he most probably checks the turn after you raised the flop.

Re: 6-12 Bay Area B&M- check or bet 2nd nut flush with 4 flush on the

You have to bet the river. And I think you'll have to call the raise getting 11:1. Even passive opponents make moves sometimes.

Re: big hand in a big pot

Since you are there already, check/call. The pot is too big to fold. But expect to lose almost always. Fish, calling 2 on the flop and raising the turn... Smells like a set.

Edit: BTW how come MP3...

Re: limped 77 against preflop raiser

This flop is no-call. You can either fold or raise. Calling means you want to draw. And you don't have the odds to draw to you 2-outer (I don't consider backdoor draws since they are week). I'd fold...

Re: 2/4 AQo from the SB, need to get aggresive

I would either fold or 3-bet PF. As played, bet the river.

Re: [3/6] QQ overpair hand

I'd 3-bet the flop. As played, button seems to be pretty passive, raising two opponents in the big pot on the river most probably means he has you beat. You have to fold. Did he really have 44?

Let's keep being hypothetical. Suppose you are SB and made a set on the flop (777). Your play?

Re: [2/4+] A line I\'m getting sick of paying off

It isn't unusual that villain has a weak king or even A7 here so you should still bet the turn.

I've made some rough calculations. Suppose the villain has a set (and we...
