Re: And Now for the Flop!

I've seen quite a few mistakes from people in this thread. They overvalue pocket pairs against a field and don't understand how the junk hand will affect play. While a PP should hold up it's share...

Re: And Now for the Flop!

[ QUOTE ]
It's more useful to know your equity versus a villain's range than a specific hand. The latter rarely comes up and when it does, your hand plays itself.

He'll limp light in EP sometimes but if he's raising, as he is here, he'll always have something. His range in that spot is TT+, AK, AQ, IMO.

I defer to the people who obviously know more than me. Will never post again.

Good luck.

Re: TT overpair

Smooth call and pop the UTG+1 for a raise on the turn if its a safe card. Granted there aren't many as half the deck is gonna scare you but I think popping the draws for two bets on the turn will...

Re: set 999 slowplay?

I reraise the flop most of the time and bet out the turn almost 100%. I always reraise the flop if the blinds call to make gutshots and two pair pay. I continue firing on the turn hoping the CO has...

Re: FT 25nl Flopped set line

PF aggressor is the button. He has no players left behind him on the flop and beyond. If you are looking to pump the pot, a bet is the perfect play to trap the BB. Then the reraise destroys all...

Re: FT 25nl Flopped set line

Sets are a 9:1 proposition. For .75 you need to net $6.75 in profits to break even on the flop and that's assuming your set is good when you flop one.

Now if the raise is a bit less, you...

Re: 2 Hands - KK & QQ

HAND 1: Figure reads are irrelevant on hands like this.

SB bets $0.90, Hero raises to $3.00, SB calls $2.10

Fold preflop. I'd only call if I were actually in the BB and if SB folds giving me opportunity to act first. Again I would only be in it if I could outplay the opponents who could potentially be in...

Re: 25nl Should i be folding 2p here?

With only ~$6 left on the table in villian's stack after his turn raise, I think it's okay to put in the rest. He's virtually committed to this pot if he's not on a pure bluff anyway. Plus with it...
