Why are we checking the turn??? I lead the turn, maybe fold to a raise, and if he just calls then I probably check-call a non-ace river.

Fold preflop. I DEFINITELY go broke there on the flop. You're gonna be up against overpairs or draws a lot of the time IMO. Clearly we're not afraid of a made straight (nobody is playing their T7...
