Re: 3/45t stars, 66 out of position.
I shoved as the pot was more than my stack and I was hoping to take the pot down.
When he called my flop cbet on that board, I thought I was in trouble. Would it have been better to check the...

3/45t stars, 66 out of position.
I haven't played a hand in a while so I was hoping my EP raise would just pick up the blinds. The blinds had just turned to 100.
Any help on any street is great. I am totally lost on the turn...

Re: $5 Stars, is this a push?
Thanks folks.
I have just been having trouble with the pushbot chart in that I can never "guess" which line to use.
I have an M of 5.6 and with 3 players behind, the "tight" column is 5.9, but...

$5 Stars, is this a push?
I have just started using the Pushbot chart for bubble play etc. I think this is a push, but still, it's only A2os.
Is this a push by the chart? Or do I have a high enough M to not push it and...

Re: K9os button vs SB push $5
I figured I crushed his pushing range because he pushed almost every hand. I figured any pair, any ace, any king, any broadway, and any suited connector, or 1 gap connector above 45.
Now that I...

K9os button vs SB push $5
This is a 2 table $5 at stars. Normal speed. Final table, in the money as top 4 pay.
The SB in this case is a very aggro pushing freak. Isn't showing down any hands because he is always pushing,...

Re: Are these lines correct?
Thanks!
The first one I did push and was pretty sure that was the play, even with the limper. I just didn't have time to wait around with an M that low.
The second one, I was clueless. I am...

Are these lines correct?
First one is $6.50 Turbo 45 person Stars. Sorry no reads as I'm multitabling and playing turbos. Just need to check my lines.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed)...

Re: $5.50 - 90 man SB trouble again!
I like every street. This could have come straight from one of my hand histories. /images/graemlins/ooo.gif
The only other play I see is fold preflop.

Re: A hand that annoyed me
This is a classic squeeze play, is it not? A lot of times you will just take down the pot without a flop.
Push to take the pot down right away, or get it only head's up if there is a call.

Re: Early AA play?
After the initial raise, most likely I'll push preflop and hope AK or KK calls.
As played, I like the raise on the flop.
I'm checking behind on the turn. Hopefully he'll still think his J...

Re: $3.3r, AQ against an allin reraise
Where did UTG go?
I suppose if he folded, I'd fold also and find a better spot. If he called, meh, I'd probably fold anyway. Maybe too weak at those odds and having less than 10BB's going into...

Re: KK in BB of a 4/180
Raise that first raise to 200 or so. Then when he comes over the top of that, I'm usually pushing and hoping to see anything but AA.
If you called at some point, it all would have been in on the...

Re: QQ... Did I mess up?

Yikes. You never know where you're at.
I cap the flop HOPING the CO and SB fold for two more. Most likely not going to happen, but I always have QQ to fall back on.
Raise on the...

$1/$2 Party SB defense
A little help on my small blind defense. I just need to know what you'd do differently, or if this is a good enough line.
I have two hands I'd like to discuss, but I'll start with the first.

Re: QQ Late Position

Absent any reads, I lay it down on the turn when it's two to me. Even if you hit your Q, it needs to be the Q /images/graemlins/club.gif as you may be up against someone really pushing a...

Re: pretty sure that this fold was a mistake
When the pot is 6-handed like that, I'm folding that 100% of the time.
It's a 3BB pot. I doubt your 5 high flush will be good on the river if that's what you have.
So I'd say you are drawing...

Re: Slowplaying the rockes

That would be my standard line. I definitely want someone to play-back at me preflop. I am quite content head's up to call the 3-bet. With another player in also, I'd probably cap.

Re: JJ against a donk bet

They don't always have the K, but how much do you want to pay to find out.
I would peel on the flop. You have a backdoor 1 card flush and a backdoor straight. Plus you still might...
