Re: Computer Freezes/Shutsdown- Corrupted Error

The torture test went a full 3.5hrs before it returned an incorrect value. My computer never crashed and the temps never got above 56C.

However, since rigorously cleaning out the power supply,...

Re: MNF Football Week 8: Packers vs. Broncos

I'm a huge Favre/Greenbay fan, but I've already had enough tonight. Just show the game and mention how awesome he is maybe once a quarter, not 8 times.

Your temps otherwise sound good and it is a...

Re: Computer Freezes/Shutsdown- Corrupted Error

I actually removed the video card and sprayed it with some compressed dust remover spray from Radio Shack. I'm hoping this fixes my problem.

Re: Computer Freezes/Shutsdown- Corrupted Error

I ran memtest86. It took about an hour to run, but it said that no errors were found. Edit- I also looked at the smart data of my HD and it was fine.

I switched my monitor with my wife's because...

Re: Computer Freezes/Shutsdown- Corrupted Error

Ok, Speedfan tells me that all measured temps are within normal range. IT does give me weird readings though, like -55C, which is clearly wrong. everything else is between 25 and 41C.

I want to...

I thought it might be temperature as well, but the fact that it tends to freeze or restart near startup, not hours after it, made me think this wasn't the case.

I will try and do some more...

Re: *** Official Fantasy Football Adds-Drops/Trades/Misc Thread : SEPT

He wants to give me Plaxico Burress and Carnell Williams for Larry Fitzgerald and Reggie Bush.
