Re: bubble question stars $6/48

[ QUOTE ]
I disagree the BB's calling range is AA/KK. Just making the money isn't that important, if the BB doubles up here he has a good chance to win and likely make top 3, which is a lot more...

Re: Stars 12/180 5handed. Is my shove ok?

I don't like the shove here since you basically have no fold equaity. With this hand, you will be lucky to be racing. If you want to make this play with a bigger stack thinking he is on a steal and...

Re: Best strategy for horrible structure?

After the rebuy with a half decent stack (m of around 13), it would be an easy trip to the final table. Problem is, to get to that point is rediculous. The blinds go up so fast and the chips are so...

Re: Best strategy for horrible structure?

Thing is, playing aggro with no hands get me busto since no raise is respected. Usually 2-3 ppl per river.

Re: Best strategy for horrible structure?

I agree if you get it heads up, but in reality, what are the chances of that?

Re: Best strategy for horrible structure?

Shoving 2 overs on the flop against 4 callers definately puts you behind, and you only make a pair about 1 in 3 times. Even if you do make the pair, doesn't mean its good. Does it make any sense...

Re: Blinds stealing late stages of the tournament

Re: Flopped set UTG

Standard, wouldn't even think of checking behind here. Need to build up a pot worth winning here.

Re: KJs utg short stacked

I know you don't have much behind, but pushing KJ UTG 8 handed is a little too light. I would rather be pushing with position since you get some info on the action in front of you. I fold here and...

Best strategy for horrible structure?

I recently played in a charity tournament where the breakdown was as follows:
-Start with 1.5k, blinds at 25/50
-Blinds go up every 15 mins
-Buy-in for $100, rebuy for $60
-Add on at the break...

No offense, but it isn't about opinions. It's about math. You could give an opinion on hand ranges. You could also give on opinion on the...

Re: JJ from early position

Oh, didn't see that, my bad. Base on his flat call here, I think he is most likely holding a pp smaller than yours. He is probably re raising with AK here. The only hand I would be afraid of is KQ,...

Re: flopped straight, go broke on turn despite 3-flush?

I think you have no choice but to call here. This isn't a snap call to me but a tough spot. Do you have any reads on this player? Is he making the flop call with just a flush draw or even AK? Looking...

Re: What do you do?

I think you have almost no fold equity. Anyone behind you is getting nearly 2-1 on their money so just hope you end up in a race situation.

Re: $4/180, bottom 2pr in 4-way pot

Raise more on the flop, then shove any turn. If you run into a set, so be it. You will most likely getting called by an overpair or an over played top pair.

Re: 99 OOP in Limped pot

You have to fold here. In a limped pot like this oop, I don't even bet the flop. I check and observe the action. You are betting into 3 others who are probably playing a wide range by limping. Check...
