Re: 2 very basic Stud 8 3rd st ?\'s--

both hands are pretty marginal... for me the decidin factor is how aggro the table is. in particular with QxQ if the ace is good/aggresive, it's a clear fold... too much guess work. if a ton of low...

if i'm playin on a table and look up a hand in the history window, will this cause the miner to scan from the first hand the next time the timer fires?

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining

thanks for the prompt response! guess the trick is to never click that force scan button if absolute's been open a while! lol

Re: The Absolute Solution - Datamining

is there a way to make the miner remember which hands have already already been saved? it looks like it is parsing through the entire contents of the hand history window everytime it scans. after a...

Re: shuffled hole cards

i dun personally play on full tilt yet, but i've read that they dun so much "shuffle" ur 3 down cards, rather they rearrange them from the highest to the lowest.

Re: River bet.

u obviously thought u had a decent chance of stealin the antes, otherwise u wouldn't have tried! so even despite the lowish ante structure, i think it's fine to have a go on 3rd.

Re: Stud 8: Am I a dumb chaser?

ur 4th street bet is pretty much neva gonna get a fold from villain.

i'm makin a few assumptions here... reasonable ones i hope:

1. villain isn't clueless.
2. villain had "smthg" to enter on...

Re: 30/60 Stud Hi (JJ)3

i'm not sure anyone's gonna be able suggest the right course of action here as it seems like a lot hinges on the assessment of ur opponents, and it sounds like ur very confident in ur reads, so i...

Re: 2/4 Hi, give up 6th?

how well do these ppl play? seat 6 looks like a donk, or he's doin smthg i have no idea abt... and seat 7 does kinda look like 3 clubs peelin on 4th that got the 4 flush on 5th, so he might not even...

stud8, pacific $1/$2. a not-so-monster monster draw

i'm gonna preface this hand (ie. excuse myself) by sayin that i'd been up for over 24hrs when this went down!

pretty loose table. players can get aggro if the pot gets short, but fairly passive...

Re: S8 10/20 hand

hmm... just remembered that 3rd got raised and it's a pretty big pot. so maybe (and i'm not sure) if u decide to play on, u need to raise 4th to give the 2nd best low draws more incentive to get...

Re: S8 10/20 hand

i tend to fold 3rd... u got a whole load of babies waitin in line to get in the pot... and they're not all gonna brick... so ur essentially playin for half the pot... also there's that ace lurkin...

Re: Question about Sklansky\'s \"folding for one more bet\" concept in 7C

i did it 20mins ago... low limit... a 7,9,9,A folded to me and i got frisky (pretty ambitious/stupid at this table) with (98)T 2 flush into 2,6,6. the nitty guy with the 6 reraised and i folded.

Re: 14 Hands from a HU session. Overall, how much do I suck?
