Re: Small pots against retards
In the first hand, your equity is quite high because you have both a pair and a spade flush draw (with my assumptions about his range from cutoff, I'd give you 55% equity). Check/fold as miles...

Re: wierd spot vs pf l/rr, how\'s my thought process
I played around with your hand on poker stove and though I know it's not really your question, I did notice that your equity goes up a lot on the turn (which intuitively makes sense, you have any...

I'd like "in" if this is still available; am relatively new to the forums. Play 1/2 and 2/4 short-handed on pokerstars.

Re: A high
I struggle with these situations a lot myself. "Couldn't he just be putting us on overcards and trying to steal from us?" No doubt he could. But he was in the blind pre-flop and might well have...

Re: Overplayed fullhouse?
Obviously no problems with the play of the hand until the river re-raise. Metagame factors certainly come into play. How strong will he interpret your raise on the turn? Without any sense for...

Re: I value bet
I suggest we take this post off the recommended list since it is mainly a discussion of whether you should bet a river with a 25% chance to get called with a worse hand, which I would hope most...

Re: sexied on turn by LAG in big pot

I assume your...

Re: Check/fold, bet/fold, or check/call on the river?
The reason you may have trouble with this situation is that your knowledge of the player contradicts the default strategy for the situation. You were bettor with a weak hand that, given the action,...
