.25-.50 Full Tilt 6max

I usually don't play like this. Curious if you guys think this is horrible, or maybe ok.

HJ (villain - no read other than seems tight through 30 hands) opens. I 3bet K...

Re: Full Tilt 6max .25-.50 best river line

[ QUOTE ]
I agree that small PPs are a big part of his range, and now I'm thinking maybe a bet here might be better. We need to be good at least 50% of the time when we're called for a bet to be...

Full Tilt 6max .25-.50 best river line

Sorry, no reads; consider villains to be unknown .25-.50 6max online types.

Re: Huge pot with heavy flop action

fold > call.

you have 5 outs for 2-pair but a few are tainted, and also a bd flush and straight (each worth 1.5 outs per ed miller). that all adds up to maybe 5-6 clean outs. and you're...

Re: 10/20: What can he have? What can I beat?

If you are assuming this guy is solid then I think your logic is reasonable in the way you played the turn and the river.

But I think you may be making a bigger mistake by giving capper to much...

Re: 15/30 -I dunno how to play the nuts.

Slightly tangential, but I also think others are more likely to take over-aggresive shots at you to try to get you to fold when you are running real good. Kind of what I was thinking when faced with...

Re: 15/30 -I dunno how to play the nuts.

Do not stop betting on the turn without a doubt. Keep it simple.

I think you painted a nice meta-game picture with your intro to the hand. The table is currently steaming against you. They hate...

Re: .25-.50 6max - fold river?

I called the turn because I thought to myself "6 outs" (vs. AQ or AJ). Also i'm winning sometimes, and a decent amount of those times he'll give up on the river. All together I felt like that added...

Re: Raise him now or raise him later

Raise the turn and call down a 3-bet. Obviously raise the river if you boat.

I guess I think its fine to try to be a little tricky HU with monsters. But generally seems better to play straight...

Re: KK\'s against the one eyed man (literaly)

This is a tough spot. I think you should have just raised the flop. If he 3-bets the flop, and he is an extreme lag, then exactly at that point it becomes WA/WB, and I think you should just call...

10-20, fold or call down?

Sorry this is a lot of reading, but I try to group together decisions at similar points in hands to look for patterns/try to tease out why a call may be good in one spot but not another.

10-20 in...

Re: Borg 20 I Check-Raise (Hand Against Myself)

You asked for UTGs range. If you are asking for UTGs range at showdown given the action preflop, flop, turn, and river then my answer is: 77, 88, 99, TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA, and AQspades, and AJspades....

Re: Full Tilt .25-.50, A9s

Yes it was 6-max.

I dunno why I played it like I did.

For the past 6-monts when I raise turns without a lot of confidence (i.e., I intutited I was on thin ice before I did it, but I did it...

Full Tilt .25-.50, A9s

If this is too low stakes for this forum, i'm sorry, please move it to the correct place.

I play mid-stakes live. Been working on short-handed stuff lately.

Is this ok? bad? horrendous?

Re: I has a set

Seems like it depends on how UTG+1 sees you. If he knows you're a nit (i assume you are) then I think its just a call down (raise river if boat).

If he doesn't know you, then maybe its a 3-bet,...

Re: Brantford 20/40 - ATo

I personally would check behind because getting to showdown helps me put hands behind me, move on, and play better for the rest of the session. If you are betting, you have to bet/fold, and that...

Thank you all for your responses, they we're very helpful.

I spewed in the hand badly. I CR the flop because I thought I might have the best hand. Only the Villain called. The turn was a blank...

A6o in SB multiway

One hand I know I screwed up from my last session. It was a spot i've screwed up before, I just want to hear some comments.

10-20 live in AC. 10 handed. Somewhat loose game, maybe 4-5 to flop on...

Re: Q9s two pairs

Sorry I haven't read the thread, don't want to bias my thoughts.

I think you're good here like 1-2% of the time. He has a set or JT. So techinically you should fold the 15-1 the pot is laying...

Re: Adjusting to a bad streak.

My short answer: check the turn more.

Then usually fold the river, and sometimes call the river. (I'm talking about AK on a dry board). Sounds like these blinds are on to you. I don't think they...

Re: turn donk bet puzzles me,(yet I am lucid, (maybe not)) Live 20/40

That's a tough spot. I think you did fine. After the pre-flop and flop action it sounds like there is 16SB/8BB in the pot. If the villain donks the turn and river, you have to put in 2BB to try...
