Re: how to play back after it\'s happened a few times (TPGK gets cred)

Bet the turn, you're ahead of his range. I think you're about 65% - 35%.

I put him on a flushdraw + pair, straightdraw, two pair.

I don't think he has a set here often. And even if a set of 2's...

What to do when all tables are tight?

When I want to play poker I look for tables with people who limp and call to much. They're often easy targets.
But sometimes there are only tables where everybody's playing tight. For example,...

Re: [50NL] QQ gets raised op the flop by UTG limper

I looked up in pokertracker how many times he check-raised on the flop. He does that 1.5% of the time. So this hand is the only time he did that.
That probably means he does't checkraise with a...

[50NL] QQ gets raised op the flop by UTG limper

Villain is 20 / 12 / 3 over 140 hands. I haven't seen him get out of line yet. He's shown two hands at showdown: two pair and a set. That's all I know from him.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50...

Re: A dbitel video

I have a question:

I'm used to raising (4 x bb + 1bb per limper). So with no limpers I raise to $1, and with one limper that's $1.25. You make (most of the time) slightly smaller preflop raises,...

Re: NL 25 - 88

Is there anything weaker the BTN can do than call preflop?

Looks like you have the best hand preflop, so raise it.
Raise the turn, looks like he's drawing. If he has a J that's too bad. Next time...

Re: NL 50, AA getting raised on flop

[ QUOTE ]
Good point. Would you do the same with JJ-QQ (assuming the turn's a blank) or just push the flop with those (and 99-TT) as overcards can hit on the turn as well as a spade?

Re: A dbitel video

Nice video.

I think it woud be a little easier on the eye if you use 'plain' or 'midnight' background next time.

Check for a free card. He won't fold if you bet.

Re: NL 50, AA getting raised on flop

If you call, you can go all-in on a non-spade turn. The equity of villain is a lot less than when you push the flop.

Re: NL50: Button v. blind, I gots a monster draw

I would reraise again preflop. You probably have the best hand, and even if SB has a better hand, he'll have a hard time calling your 4-bet.

Re: uNL odds quiz

Hand 2: easy call. You need to pay $35 to win €100. You have 45% equity.

Hand 3: I'll call because there's so much money in the pot on the flop already. Even when you have only 30% equity against...

Re: uNL odds quiz

I fold hand 1 because the odds are not so good and when the BTN calls, there are 4 people on the flop. I don't believe anyone is going to get stacked easily when there are 4 people on the flop.

[25NL] Passive opponent bets river into me, small pot

This is one of the 100.000 small pots I play every day. You know these, you have a small pocket pair and raise it up. One caller who plays passive this hand, and wakes up on the river. The board...

You need to raise a lot more PF. One thing people haven't been mentioning is your attempt to steal is very low. I'm guessing you aren't very positionally aware.

Re: What does this graph mean? :o

How much tables are you playing Stabbyah?
How long are your sessions?
Do you play when you're tired?
Do you use Pahud?
What are your stats?

What do YOU think your leaks are?

Re: AK against loose player NL25 6 max

I don't mind the turncheck, but I would raise the turn. He's drawing or has Ax I think. It just doesn't look like a set or two pair.

Re: bottom 2 unraised pot vs. possible tilting villain

Do you have any stats? Is this a guy who like to limp AQ from UTG?

I think you're ahead on the flop. a set of 2's or 7's is unlikely. A set of queens is possible.

On the turn the ace really...

Sample size too small? I don't think so. He's playing break even for more than 19.000 hands, that has to tell something.

From 9.000 to 10.500 you have a nice streak, but still you see some mayor...

Take a big piece of paper and stick it to the wall behind your computerscreen. Write on it:

"DO NOT BLUFF AGAINST VPIP > 50%!!"

These guys are so insanely profitable, it's almost unbelievable....
