I really hope the Mets lose it because I don't want them to be the laughingstock of the playoffs. If they were to get into the playoffs and win a single game, that'd be the equivalent to them winning...

This series was huge for the Mets. They needed this badly.

This is promising if the Mets can keep this up for the rest of the season into the playoffs.

Mets fans whine because we know our team can do much better. We expect more out of a team with a huge payroll. We expect more when Wilpon and Minaya dump an ungodly amount of money on "elite"...

Our bullpen is just so overworked. We have to have starters that can go more than 6 innings per start. Otherwise, your relief staff just gets overloaded.
