the turn bet almost looks like a block bet for the club/straight draw or attempt at a cheap showdown with Jx, but could also be a "block bet hope to get raised big" bet...too bad villain is unknown

Also, with respect to what your friend's comments were, I agree that you need to bet the flop on some frequency, but that should be a habit you ease into as you move up in stakes. I highly doubt...

I think I check behind on the turn. The only thing we really beat at this point against a TAG's 3B calling range is like KJ which I don't see us squeezing out much more value...
