200NL Live 400BB Pot

This hand took place at an extremely loose, live, 9-handed table, average pre-flop bet was 6xBB, and several people see each flop.

Hero: $485
UTG+1: appr. $250
Cutoff: appr. $200

Hero picks...

Re: Iv seen better flops

[ QUOTE ]
The size of your 4-bet is awkward with these stack-sizes. I would either 4-bet bigger or flat-call.

As played, bet/fold flop. Simple.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. Def. not the best flop.

Re: 200 NL, QQ versus weird overbet in re-raised pot.

I've seen a several appr. 6/3 stats 12 tabling, and their pre-flop raise range often included AK.

I'd actually be pretty interested in knowing if you called and what it was at end of discussion.

Re: AJs on choppy board vs. unknown.

I think I'd rather do that on the river here vs. an unknown rather than give a free card. Not sure he'll bet this. C/C a river bet. As played, check/raise turn?

Re: 50NL AQs against maniac

Flop re-raise seems ok vs maniac on this flop. He may have something like AK/TT here. On the river, if you're ahead, you prob. won't get much on a bet, if you're behind you're getting re-raised.

Re-raise flop, fold to 3bet. As played, fold vs 8/3.

Re: NL 10 FR Push with flopped straight?

Yep, same. Might run into K9 here occasionally or straight&flush draw, but mostly just two pair.

Re: NL5 Flop Trips Turn Play

Since Villain is a shortstack here it's a bit easier to push, but what if Villain is deepstacked?

Would a push still be good there? Seems like that loses the maximum to hands that have me beat,...

Re: NL50 AK- Am i to aggro?

The flop check-raise all-in seems strong, especially if you have a tight image at the table. He probably has some overpair like JJ/TT and, if so, that would be a hard call for him to make. You'd...

Re: FR NL10: Set against flush board

Looks fine. You can't be afraid to raise more on the turn. The small raise didn't price the flush draw out.

Re: Live $200NL KK, Putting villain on a hand...

It's a good thing someone else 3bet. You could have been in a much tougher spot with that many callers seeing the flop with you. Unless there's a some live tell that lets me know a raise is coming...

Re: AA 5-way facing large donk bet.

I could see a fold after re-raising and facing another re-raise/push/or some other info. that represents a strong hand. Folding immediately seems too weak/tight.

Re: NL100 over against unknown flop shove

Re: KK, push/fold flop?

Def. not thinking of folding once it's $60 to go. Just curious how I could have improved my line there.

I'm curious why you said you would just check the flop other than perhaps to c/r.

Re: calling range v donk shove situation (50 NL)

I have DSL in an apartment complex and it's pretty unstable for me. Some days I'm disconnected several times in a session. For HSNL, I definitely would not be using this type of connection.
