Re: Need help with 3bet pots

lol at all the PF commentary without anybody even asking about stack sizes

Your line is fine, but you have to felt this sometimes (assuming you're not super deep). Without any history to speak...

It would be more interesting if you hold T9s.

Re: 5/10 Live: Two Pair against a nit

PF is a huge huge leak.

As played I don't see how you can fold.

i agree with what you said but i dont see how this leads you to conclude that we have 12 outs against any hand that is shoving for value here

Re: Some akward turn spots

I probably just shove hand 1. He'll make some hero calls on you, I think, and lots of draws have tons of equity against you.

Hand two I'd bet/fold like $80 or $90 and check/decide most rivers.

Re: Check-behind tptk... and now he c/r AI

[ QUOTE ]
Bet/call turn all day plz.

[/ QUOTE ]
Meh, I think there's too many sets and not enough semi-bluffs in his range to want to call a c/r on the turn.

Re: Check-behind tptk... and now he c/r AI

I don't mind the turn line now and again, but I definitely tend to bet/fold more often.

I wouldn't give an unknown credit for a bluff here. Flop is fairly slowplay friendly too, so he could have...

Re: Is c-betting extracting max???

I don't mind checking hand two sometimes. Lots of good cards can fall to give you a lot of action, on the turn.

Typically, I'm betting all of these, though:
1) $50ish
I like a small bet to...

Re: 425 bb deep with AA

The guys with the balls to bluff a missed draw when you check to them here usually find a raise somewhere earlier in the hand.

Pretty obvious bet fold, here.

Re: 5-10 NL funny quads hand

I've never folded quads before, but I would fold this pretty easy, I think.

As? lol

Bet the flop all day long.

Re: AAA in weird 4-way pot live

Raise because they can easily be drawing, and cold calling will shut them down.

Seems like a really crappy spot to slowplay pre, as well.

Re: Live 5/5NL Turn Set Bad Board

Shove. Suck out if necessary.

The other people in the pot are in the blinds, why are you worried about the straight so much? They have all sorts of two pairs and combo draws in their ranges.

ugh I feel like this is a straight soooooo much....

Hard to get away when that's the only hand you're worried about though.

I think I prefer calling down, I just don't see him calling a shove...

Re: 400NL - two thin spots vs donks

hand one is easy block bet. $150, maybe $200. I'd def bet bigger on a safe card. He's a passive fish, he'll pay you off with whatever, and won't think to bluff with a made hand.

I think you can...

Re: Give my pair and straight draw some love

Raise the pot, call a shove.

Shove the turn if he just calls.

In these high equity, low implied odds situations, just get the money in.

Re: 5/10 vs kmoney, explain something to me

I can't convince myself about the flop c/r here. I suppose he continues with KJ and other K+pair hands, but I can't see getting much value out of anything worse than AK, if we build the pot now.
