Re: NL25 AKo preflop OOP after 2 coldcallers

If the plan is to c/f if we miss the flop, shouldn't we just call PF? If we were in position then I think the 3-bet is fine, but I think 3-betting PF and then c/f when we whiff is a bit spewy.

Re: KK facing reraise on flop!

You can't raise to 21 here.

Just get it in.

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

Does anybody else habitually get stuck a buy in or two before they bear down and profit? I can't seem to stop pissing away money to start a session.

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

Quick question (no hand history). If a villain calls a raise preflop, calls a 3/4 pot bet on the flop and turn and then shoves the river when checked to, and the board is 34652 (no flush possible)...

Re: one of the weirdest hands i\'ve played in a while

I would bet here, $3.50-$4. We 3-bet preflop and took control of the hand. It's a pretty big pot already and I can't stand the thought of giving up this pot without at least trying to pick it up. ...

Re: ~NL25. Losing value with KK?

I'd just bet it myself and hope he had the Q. I'm not convinced that NL10 players will bluff enough with missed draws to make check/calling profitable.

Re: 25NL blind v. blind against AciDs

I'd definitely raise here. A bajillion cards will make it hard for you to play the turn. Raise it up.

Re: CDN players - how are you dealing with the low US dollar?

I only play as a hobby, so I'm just leaving it in there. I used to withdraw from my roll and buy stuff, so the exchange rate will help me kick that nasty habit so I can actually build a roll.

Re: 25 nl - AK in 3bet pre flop hand

I'd push preflop. You're way ahead of his range if he's 42/34. This is a tricky spot but someone who's 42/34 could have a whole bunch of hands here, not just 2pr+.

I hate these kinds of spots also, but usually I'll just let them have it until I'm pretty sure they're picking on the c-bets. It happens, but I would pay special attention to this guy, let him have...

Re: Combo draw, call the push?

I think I'd call, you need about 43% equity to make the call right and villain might have just the ace in which case you're a favourite. Also, if the steal didn't work, then this is pretty much one...

Re: Looking for feedback

I would probably just shove it in on the flop. Villian has less than a PSB left on the flop.

NL10 - AQs preflop

OK I know preflop should be one of the easier streets to play but I got a bit confused here. CO doesn't play a ton of hands by NL10 standards, but raises light fairly often. BB is new to the table....
