Re: 50NL TPNK vs possible river bluff - call?

I didn't want to give him a free card just incase he's drawing, but when he calls i'm not exactly sure where I am.

Re: one of the weirdest hands i\'ve played in a while

Bet $3.50...

because given your opponents apparent looseness and the fact that they haven't exhibited any strength on the flop, this size of bet (~3/4 pot) should take it down or at least draw...

Re: 50NL ReRaised All In on turn - Call?

Thanks alot for the replies guys. Really has been helpful. I will say though that folding does look like the best option given the arguments. However, no one has yet hit the correct hand of the...

50NL Flopped Top Set possible mistake @ turn...line check please

Villain is pretty much unknown, 52/17/1.9 after ~100 hands. Hero is 17/13/3.3 for the same number of hands. I feel that I may have set myself up to be bluffed, but would like some opinions of a...

50NL - Set on flop vs tricky All-In situation

Villain is 76/16/6.8, although I can't trust it all that much as it's only from 50 or so hands (i.e. He's new to me). I'm around 24/15/3.5 at this point...

Re: nl50 a couple hands.

First Hand: Don't give up leading on the turn, bet again. Given his range from 17/10 stats, he hasnt got the 9 and is bluffing/semi-bluffing the turn with a flush draw. So betting on the turn i think...

Re: 50NL: Am I getting taken to Valuetown?

Giving up the lead on the turn was a mistake, you basically said "I have no ace" versus a guy you suspect is floating you! He won't need any more reason to take you to task and test you relentlessly...

Re: NL 10 - QQ faces reraise on flop

First, you must RR the flop. Hell, even the turn. You just missed too many opportunities to close it out.

He could have a set of any kind, His flop ReRaise may be a semi-bluff of sorts where he...

Re: 25nl too aggressive with qq?

An acceptable bet is to 3-bet his raise, or more often make a PotSizedBet (PSB).

Re: 25nl too aggressive with qq?

re-raise the flop, if he bets back at you again, then you KNOW your beat. As played, you know nothing extra from the flop. Don't be afraid of losing him at the flop, sometimes you just won't make big...

Re: 25NL: Overpair with action ahead of me

Fold, Garaal may be an aggressive lunatic after the flop, but 13Arod isn't (1.5), he's quite passive in fact. So i'm guessing he hit a nine, just fold. Theres always more time to beat these kinds of...

Re: 6maxNL - 66 hits a set on the turn

Pot Sized Bet (PSB) on the turn, other wise ok, i.e. calling the river...unless you know your beat!

Re: NL5 : Is this spew?

Seriously, just play premium-ish (top 15-20%) of hands. When you connect with what you feel is the best hand bet out 3/4 to a pot sized bet.

If you get bored playing so few hands...multitable and...

Re: NL50 - AA facing c-r

He Limped and called your Preflop raise, most likely with Marginal hands as he didnt raise this time (only 2.7% of hands), so QT, Q6s, 66, maybe TT although a preflop raise is more likely. TP hands...

Re: strategy against maniac

Just play SUPER tight vs this guy (Top 5-10% of hands). it may be frustrating knowing that he'll lose his chips and NOT to you, but that's how it goes. Patience is the key, don't fish just because...

Re: 50NL; AQ dangerous board - valuebet river?

Look at this guy; he's loose, he's aggro, he's the kind of guy who'll slowplay a monster to death. He could have trips here, a flopped straight (less likely), 2-pair with A4, A9, JT, J9.

Your flop...

Re: 25NL AA nut straight SCARY board, value bet river?

I check.

Why though, did you just call the flop reraise...you have little/no read at this table yet, hes representing a decent hand/possible draw with the min-raise. I'm putting out a PSB here and...

Re: 50NL squeeze gone awry

Why would you assume your ahead here?

UTG raises 25% of his hands, which includes all pairs, all suited Aces, all Broadway cards as well, and he's called a ReRaise OOP and still has One to act...
