I got $95 for checking (assuming we get a river bet 1/2 the time, and just win the pot the other 1/2 time). So just put that in somewhere and solve for x!

edit, the EV is actually about $95 and not $63 in my above assumptions.

Profitable doesn't mean most profitable. We win roughly .25 * 260 = 65, and sometimes win .25 * 500 = 125. Say that he pays off on spade river 1/2 the time, then we make about $63 in the long run. So...
