Do You & What\'s Your Fav?

Not really a book or publication issue, but I was wondering how many people out there played the poker games on Play Station or XBox and if so what was your favorite(s) and how relavant do you think...

Re: Recommendations please

If you are new to Poker period I would suggest Phil Gordon's book 'Poker-The Real Deal'. Not really geared toward online poker but it does have a section on it but it is a really easy read and not...

Re: Big drawing hand--take the free card, or build the pot?

Re: Why Poker in General in Cashgame allows shortstacking?

If they have the same skill level as you but a smaller stack how are they at an advantage? Having a smaller stack forces them to be more cautious with their starting hands because when they enter a...

Re: What are the top 10 starting hands in holdem?

I believe the reason they have AQs, AJs, and even KQs before AKos is because, yes you have the abilty to flop the top pairs and the nut straight with AKos, but over time you loose (when seen to the...

Re: What are the top 10 starting hands in holdem?

Awesome graph...great illustration of hand rankings. Personnaly I still use Sklansky & Malmuth's Groups. Their top 10 hands are (in order) AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKs, 10-10, AQs, AJs, KQs, AKos

Re: To Open Limp or to Open Raise

Limping seems to be contagious because the people acting next are getting the correct pot odds to limp also. Then if you get a piece of the flop or flop a draw you will probably be getting the...

Re: Why Poker in General in Cashgame allows shortstacking?
