Re: Trips facing all in after scare card hit

I think this fish could have anything here. He could have big pairs AA, KK, QQ ( you did say he was passive postflop ). He could also have 9 10, J 10 or even smaller pairs. Fish like this sometimes...

29, single, games programmer, compulsive gambler and generally all around loser....

deposited $30 or $40 10 or 20 times ( and of course lost it ) before I understood anything about poker. Read...

NL100, Is this a bluff or a value bet ?

Villain here is 28/21/69. I think I bodged this hand by not betting the turn. I thought he had an overpair or overcards here, maybe queens or jacks, but I was suspicious of the size of the river bet....

Re: Is multi-tabling 6 at once too much?

something like PokerAceHud or GameTime+ which overlays information from your poker tracker database onto the windows when you play, so you can have stats on your opponents ( and yourself ) right next...

easy question ?

I was 3 tabling NL100 today and hit trip aces on the flop( both times I had pocket aces ) on 2 tables at the same time to within 5 seconds or so.

What are the chances of that happening assuming...

Re: Two pair trouble...

I take your point about raising, getting min-raised then folding looking weak but if I just call his min-raise I'm only getting about 4-1 from the pot and I've probably only got 4 decent outs to the...

NL100: Two pair trouble...

Villain here is 13/3.7/0.9 over 80 odd hands.

I usually get into trouble playing two pair hands like this. What's the best play here ? Raise the flop, and then if the guy stays interested and a...

Re: NL50 - QQ gets repopped PF

I guess I have a lot to learn then. Where I play NL50( iPoker ), I see so many reraises with Axo / smaller PPs that I would never even consider playing QQ so cautiously. I just think in this case...

Re: NL50 - QQ gets repopped PF

ok I'm a newb and all, but why can someone explain why you wouldn't reraise with QQ ? Presumably by not reraising you're worried the guy has AA or KK, but he could have anything like AK / AQ / AJ /...

Re: AK as overcards $3/$6

good to know I did nothing wrong here, apart from maybe not capping preflop. I called the turn bet and spiked a king on the river, villain showed a pair of tens and wasn't happy.

The abuse I...

Re: 50 limped pot set

[ QUOTE ]
They are more than happy to push any two pair or set hand even though the pot was limped.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure I understand that comment....what point are you trying to make ?

Flush and OESD on the turn 50NL

Villain is 37/6/144. He's been doing some pretty strange things like bluffing $20 into a $1.5 pot, and is quite passive post flop. Do I put in a small-ish raise here or push ? Anybody like leading...

Re: Flopped set against unknown $400NL

no I'm not new to NL, I've played about 100K hands but this is my first hand post here and up until registering to this forum I've never really thought that deeply about the game.

I fell into the...

Flopped set against unknown $400NL

This is my first hand post so go easy on me. Forgive my hand converter also, it's a home-made effort for the iPoker network..

iPoker network, HH converter

Hi guys, I'd like to start posting hands here but I play primarily at Titan ( iPoker ). I can't find a hand history converter anywhere for that site, anyone know of one or plans for one ? Thanks.

Re: I\'m so confused about PT stats of opponents while I play!

It kinds of amuses me how people on these boards always talk( correctly ) about how 20K - 50K hands is a relatively small sample size when talking about things like win-rates, yet they trust a PAHUD...

Re: Game/Table Selection

My 2 cents....I don't bother with table selection either. I find that the frequency that people come and go at small stakes tables means that any numbers you see for table averages are pretty...
