I don't really get why Melky Cabrera is being tossed around as a piece of trash or waiver bait. He has okay range for CF, a howitzer mounted on his shoulder, and a reasonable bat. He also costs less...

College+ kids don't go to rookie ball. They go to various A levels of ball, so what rwperu said is still valid.
