starting stack size in home tourney\'s

I play in a few different home tourney's each week. Some of the games start with a stack of $2,500 to $3,500. A different game starts with $8,000 to $10,000. Buy-ins are the same and blinds start...

I think I understand what you guys are saying...but after the (sb) short stack raised 3,000 pre-flop(leaving him only ~6,000 more) and then with the (bb) Big stack calling...do you guys really think...

On the other hand...proof doesn't always mean "beyond a reasonable doubt". It can also mean "more likely than not".

Starting with a bank roll of $100, what would be the best fixed limit game to start off in? And at what point do you consider yourself "beating" a certain limit...is there a standard to go by?

I think the difference here is that the $1 is a fee for the text message...it isn't going into a prize pool and it isn't a charge to play the game, it is a totally seperate fee.
