Re: Bryce is \"In the Well\"

What is your opinion of how well a person who is not as apparently intellectual or mathematically proficient can succeed at HU limit? Is a person of average intellect somewhat doomed to fail?

Re: Books for headsup limit holdem?

If only Byron Jacobs wasn't Australian. His voice and appearance have caused me to stop viewing his DVD set after only the first DVD.

Re: baronzeus is in \"the well\"

What advice would you give to a small stakes player today on the basis that today's online games are more challenging than one and two years ago?

Re: Book Announcements

Interesting to me that you don't want to "hold anything up" with the Harrington books yet you apparently mandated to Fromm and Zee to have Al Schoonmaker act in some type of editting capacity sure...

The manuscript was sent to a printer last week. Tommy expects it to become available around November 1. Expect updates on his web site.

Re: Book Announcements

Maybe Zee and Fromm should have worked with Miller too. Yet since Fromm had to write and give a speech for his Stanford doctorate, and appears on the DVD to be able to convey strategy well, I wonder...

Re: new dvd\'s coming out

There are no chapters or discussion on specific topics in the Stox limit DVDs such as with Ed Miller or Dave Fromm's. It more like hand reviews, how and why he played each hand including pointing...

Stox DVD

Stox recorded the content for the DVD approximately 12 months ago. It doesn't appear that he had input on the oganization of the content. I am disappointed in the DVD yet put the fault squarely on...

Re: Lexus IS 350 or BMW 335i/xi

With the BMW, you pay more for leather and metallic paint. AWD is an extra $2000 on the BMW. At some point, I have to draw the line on what I can afford. Someone I met last night at a bar said an...

Re: Lexus IS 350 or BMW 335i/xi

[ QUOTE ]
Have you looked at the Infiniti G35/G35x at all?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I have. The G35 series is comparable in power and price to the Lexus. I preferred the IS 350 styling over the G35.

Lexus IS 350 or BMW 335i/xi

I will soon be buying a new sport sedan. My initial choice was the Lexus IS 350 because I liked the 306 HP and 4.09 gear which makes the car go fast. I also really like the exterior style. ...

Re: Review: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games by Stox/Zobags

I'd like to add my interest to robispo's. Namely, if I play mainly 8-16 live which is 9 handed tables, is this limit too low for aggressive BB and SB defense to have value? My initial assumption is...

I think the spazzy aggressive can...
