NL25 6max: pretending I have trip Aces

Re: NL25 6max: pretending I have trip Aces
Min-raising the turn tells you absolutely nothing about his hand. Very few hands are going to fold there. KJ certainly isn't. Raise more. If he calls that, then you can just hope for a cheap river.

Re: $10NL - T9s vs. TAG
I dunno what the heck happened to the stack sizes.
I have $10 at the start of the hand. Button has about $15. BB has only about $3, so they're fairly irrelevant.

Re: 10NL Is it correct to shove KK PF?
I was in this situation a few days ago. I had 350BB, villain had 250BB... I called the third raise to see a flop. Didn't matter... flop was 522 and I had no choice but to call his all-in. I can't see...

$10NL - Raise or call this river?
Villain is 42/0/.4 over 50 hands. They showed A6 for the FH. I figured hands like this come so rarely that I can't be worried about monsters under the bed, but the play was very typical of a TPP with...

Re-raise should have been bigger. I don't think I could lay it down. I'd really have to have a feel for the table to be sure they had...

Re: TPGK faces pot-size river bet
That's a great flop for a preflop raiser... you need to bet it. As played, you should raise that turn. It's a tiny, tiny bet.
The river is weird. The bet on the turn was so small, he could have...

AQo in EP ($10NL)
Villain is very loose-passive preflop and very aggressive postflop. His play up until the turn looked like a set. Re-raise the flop or was my play/suckout alright as-is?

This play does absolutely nothing except put you in a situation where the Button will call if you're beat and probably fold otherwise. Based on your description of the opponent, what makes you think...

Re: $50NL KK 3 bet pf deepstacked
I don't get the point of the flop bet. If you bet that much, and get raised all-in, you have to call it no matter what... so why bet that amount? If you bet half the pot, you can at least consider...

What's the problem? If that's what you think is happening, bet when you have a hand, check when you don't. I think you'll be okay.

Well, you called, so obviously you know whether you made the right decision or not. You say you did, so I'm assuming they had KK, QQ, or TT.

Sure looks like A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Qx to me. I can't imagine someone with a flopped flush or a flopped set of Qs pushing all in like that. 66 is possible, but even then I can't see trying...

If you feel a set is your only out (which you obviously did since you folded on a good flop for your hand), then no way in hell did you have the odds to call.

I'd be raising that flop with AJ/A3/33... probably any top pair with a decent kicker, too. I would have re-raised the flop in the event he had something like KJ with the K of diamonds. Make him pay...

Re: NL50: Critique my reasoning
I don't follow how you can hit your set/FH and not try to get all in. You called over $7 preflop to win an extra $11? I don't like the check on the turn, either. Betting there looks like a steal, and...

Re: TT on first hand at Table 10NL
I don't see much reason not to reraise that flop if you think you have the best hand. A, K, Q, J on the turn is going to make the hand pretty tough. Also, depends on the player... would he raise...
