Re: $16 Tricky bubble situation

[ QUOTE ]
sngpt does not take into account the fact that if one of the other two shorties double youre really screwed, and the fact that most big stacks here at this level are not calling any 2. not...

this is a very standard PF shove, you cant fold here....i played with you a lot tonight, btw

The number of short stacks here makes this interesting, but if BB calls any 2...

No one likes a push? I guess I don't hate something less if I have reason to think it'll get me more action, but I don't like varying my play based on my hand, and there's not...

Re: ($60 turbo) yuck

[ QUOTE ]
I'd call. Any player that limps behind another player here with a big pair is an idiot so his range is definitely big.

Over-limp-re-raising is apparently the new thing,...

This sucks, and I stop and go. Because I can, and it's fun to get laydowns here.

Re: Very dubious bubble call

If he's really pushing 100%, J8o is a call, but it's a thin enough call that even if I was sure he was pushing 100% I'd fold it and save my FE for later.

Also, I tend to be over-aggressive in the...

Looks like a fold. Is there something I'm missing?

Re: Comparative stats at the Stars turbos

I didn't do anything exhaustive, but over my last 600+ SNGs my all-ins at the 200/400 and 300/600 level get called around 1/3 of the time, and I'm winning in the nieghborhood of 45% of the time when...

Re: Fictional Prop Bet

[ QUOTE ]
Care to stab at a near-realistic set?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not that it's realistic, but a player with a positive ROI with all 1st place finishes should have a -EV return on the bet for low...

Re: Fictional Prop Bet

I think with a "normal" distribution of finishes you're going to be +$ in any given 10 SNG run more than 50% of the time, which would make this bet +EV. This based on messing around with breakeven...

Re: $27: Probably should have folded preflop

Doesn't an open shove on the turn only get called by hands that are way ahead (not that there are many that make sense being out)? I know half the deck is a scare card on the river, but still...

Re: $27 tough QQ bubble hand

If that range is correct for SB (seems loose), I think this is a pretty easy call. You pick up almost twice as much equity when you triple up as when you fold and CO loses his stack and you lose an...

Re: ($11) plug this leak - chip spewing speculation sucks...

Is this really spewing? You're not quite getting odds to draw on the turn, but you probably get paid something on the river when you make your hand, though maybe that's balanced by the times you...

Re: UTG +1 limp with AKo

Fold, hero has to have AK and villain can't expect to move him off it with air. I can't imagine SB leading out without an ace of some sort, so BB either has: ak (2 ways), or 77 (3-ways). ...

Re: $20/180man KQ, tough

MP1 isn't the real problem here ultimately. If BB is truly a rock he's got you crushed with that min-raise behind you. Ignoring that for the moment, this is a raise or fold pre-flop OOP, and even...
