Re: Tropicana Story in Philadelphia Daily News today
My bus I took last weekend first stopped at the Trop. Only half of the bus went off. The other half went to the Taj, at the opposite end of the boardwalk. Usually, at least 85% of the people get...

Your only two choices are the Borgata and Taj Mahal. Borgata has a nicer atmosphere.

Bad Beat Jackpot coming to Borgata Dec. 1st
Two separate dealers told me they are going to have a meeting/training for it this week. Also, I saw a sign in Tropicana AC that they will also start theirs Dec. 1st as well. I don't know any of...

If they use the structure from the tournament, hours and hours. You realize the audience does not see the cards right? Watching these final tables is like watching paint dry.

I thought the Borgata DID have a BBJ? Or used to?

Re: Bad Beat Jackpot at Tropicana Atlantic City
The old Trop BBJ was funded by Tropicana. Years ago the CCC didn't let casinos do a jackpot rake. Harrah's must have convinced them to allow one.

Re: Bad Beat Jackpot at Tropicana Atlantic City
A Borgata dealer said the Borgata doesn't want a BBJ because it invites a 'carvinal atmosphere.' (I don't know how true this is). She did mention that Trop was going to start one.

The only comment i would add is that at the borgata there will be more 2/5 games going then anywhere else so your wait for a game will probably be the shortest there.

Re: Atlantic City during Thanksgiving?
Day after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year. For the limits you want, only Borgata regularly spreads 5/10 NL. On busy weekends, there should be 10/25 and 25/50 going.
