Re: What exactly does \"time\" mean?

[ QUOTE ]
Calling a clock on someone (over glorified with TV tournament poker) would involve terms like 'can I get a clock on him?' and should never be used in a live game situation (IMHO)

Re: Showing Cards when All in 1/2NL game

This isn't a tournament. Big Stack does not have to show his hand immediately when calling the all-in on the flop, even if asked.

After the river if the Big Stack wants to claim the pot he/she...

Re: the \"you win\" rule

Maybe I am unconsciously shooting an angle, but I say "you win" sometimes when I make a crying call on the river. I know I am beat in 90%+ cases, but the pot is too big and whatever value bet made...

Re: Straight flush mucked at 200nl Foxwoods?

Nit alert... there is no 200NL at Foxwoods. I assume OP means the 1/2 (60-300 buy-in) game since the 2/5 is 300MIN.

I assumed all casinos had the clear boxes?

I have never seen one of these at Foxwoods or in Vegas at any 1/2 or 2/5 NL game. Maybe for mid-high limit NL and LHE?

Re: Table Change allows ratholing?

First off, I admittedly did not search for a similar thread before posting this. I read this forum fairly regularly and did not see anything on some time on this. Guess I missed it.

Second,...

Re: Rockingham Park TR

Great post.

Also, there are, from what I recall, floor-to-ceiling windows that probably face the racetrack. I'm not sure, it was dark. It's always dark, since the room is only open...

The smoking rule is abhorrent. The 1 and 9 seat cannot smoke because of proximity to the dealer, but it is alright to be in #5 and blow it right at him. In the tournaments, no one can...

A couple rooms have now moved to only allowing one usage of IWTSTH per player per dealer, anything beyond that is abuse. It's not perfect but it's a start.

Re: best tournament/NL 1/2 games in san diego

Thanks for the info all. Went to Ocean's 11 first, fully intending on going on to Pechanga. In fact, I stayed at Ocean's 11 for the entire time.

Good action any time of the day in the 2/3NL,...

Thanks Iggy.

Ocean's 11 claims to have NL at 1-1, 1-2, 2-3, and 5-5 blinds. does anyone know the buy-ins for those games?

Re: best tournament/NL 1/2 games in san diego

Thanks freedom.

SD airport. Anything from 1-2 to 2-5 NL.

A comment above said that the Barona 1-2 game was bad with a max 60 buy-in. Perhaps this is the same structure everywhere in the SD...

Any local opinions on where to play LLNL for an out-of-towner? I am staying near the airport if that makes any difference in drive time.

I will be visiting in the near future, what about Viejas? Seems a little closer, 20+ tables?

I am not looking for tournaments, only LLNL.

Thanks.
