Re: I\'m Gonna Bluff ~ Maybe? NL10

First off, Q8o is trash. Fold PF, esp. with this passive station in the blinds.

On the flop, a passive player leads out so I'm guessing you've got zero fold equity here. Just call. On the turn,...

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

Ah tricky tricky /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah I think I play it the same as you. Hard to imagine a 35/20 doesn't 3-bet AQ or AK pre-flop. Given that I dunno what he calls a river raise with...

Re: nl25 another trips hand

after 30 hands I don't put much stock into VPIP. The only thing we really know about this guy is he isn't a maniac pre-flop.

I do. But if I dont really think Im that far ahead of his range should I be raising the turn? or is that way overanalyzing things?

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

Ok not directed at me but I'm going to answer. A bluff raise is a part of his range but not a big enough part getting 1.65-1 to call because the rest of his raising range beats us.

Even though...

Re: 50NL: AQs in BB

Fold. The only thing you beat here is a bluff IMO.

This guy isn't raising you with a worse Ace.

Re: Interesting hand 10nl How do you play it?

IMO you played it fine. In general, doing stuff like this at NL10 is -EV but sometimes it's ok. As has been previously mentioned, it depends a lot on the table. Flop is ok. Shoving is also ok but...

Re: Come here and make fun of my donkey fold.

[ QUOTE ]
Why is this posted in the micro stakes forum?

[/ QUOTE ]

Probably because live 2-4 plays a lot like micro stakes online.

Re: 30NL - 200+BBs deep w/ flopped set

[ QUOTE ]
a player with an AF of ~1 def. isn't c/ring missed draws on the river

but I agree with everything else you said

[/ QUOTE ]

a 1.1 AF for an 83% VPIP is aggressive.

Re: 30NL - 200+BBs deep w/ flopped set

snap call. This is two pair, AJ, and missed draws a lot.

I play it the same. It's a [censored] spot but you are getting odds to call the shove.

Re: nl25 reacting to weak looking bets

I b/f the turn. So much easier and less expensive. This guy isn't raising a draw here and you can c/c the river if it blanks to pick up a bluff if you're really convinced you're ahead.

Re: First 10k hands stats. Looking for a bit of general advice.

Is the first NL10 line item Full Ring? If so, you are being way too lose in that game. You should be VPIP less than at 6 max, not more.

Re: Potential Income at small stakes

Small stakes are very beatable. 1-2k a month is certainly attainable at NL50 but it all depends on your winrate and the # of hands you are able to put in a month.

Re: NL50 JJ Sanity check pre-flop

I agree 4-betting is out of the question. I should also add this is the first time I've seen the player on the button 3-bet PF, although it has been a small sample. IRL I folded, which I hated but...
