Re: Way of Getting Ranges for VPIP

i realized that lucky, and that is a problem, but a general range is a good starting point, although it shouldn't be set in stone.

Re: from 18 to 46 non-cash finishes in a row since last post

ah man, thats ugly. The preflop was fine, and aside from betting a little more on the flop, that was fine. If you're going to shoot a double barrel you need to bet more than 240 on the turn, and if...

Why am I not performing well at 25NL?

So, I'm doing fine at NL10, playing at 5BB/100 through 12,000 hands. I am trying to move up to NL25 and have been for a while and things are just not going well. After 1200 hands I am losing...

Re: Way of Getting Ranges for VPIP

Awesome thanks guys!

So if this thing says my hand is good against a random hand 60% of the time against a random hand, I should at least call with the hand against someone with a 40% VPIP? Would...

Way of Getting Ranges for VPIP

Hey guys,

Is there a program or option on PT to see the range of hands a villian may have given their VPIP and the assumption that they are playing better hands and folding the worst ones. I hope...

Re: NL25: OESD facing flop donk

Its a call because of your overcard. Like stated above, reevaluate on turn.

Re: nl25 QQ turn decision

i believe its a +EV play to push here. as long as he wasnt raising under the gun with AA,KK, or JJ, you got him beat. very unlikely he has a 3 here.

NL25 7.50 CAP 77 One overcard on flop

Did I play this hand ok or was I too aggressive? Big note here that villian was a 65.38/3.85/0.3 player. Maybe that aggression tells me to fold flop?

Re: 50NL Flop TPTK and NFD what\'s my plan?

I think I'd bet closer to $4, although it seems people fold more to smaller bets than to larger pot sized ones. Dunno why that is.

Re: 50nl: playing against a huge fish

I agree with losingdonkey, lead out on the flop and down the pot.

Re: 25NL: QQ on paired flop vs. maniac

7 more to call into a 32 dollar pot. Sounds like an easy call against this maniac. Am I wrong here?

Re: NL10 Flopped a monster Did I extract?

Why lead out on the flop when you have a hand this dominant? This is really NL3 since theres a $3 CAP on the hand btw.

Sometimes a hand comes up where theres alot of money in a pot and a decision to be made. Sometimes, however, I know the right decision may be to fold, but I decide to gamble. I know you guys will...

Re: 25NL - Maximum Value w/ Flush?

just a quick question? Is it standard to lead out and bet like that with a flush draw and not much else? i usually check with a board like that.

Re: Hopefully standard, 6max 10NL with KK

well played, but don't overbet the pot. You don't want to chase the guy away with a mediocre hand.
