Re: I bought a Betta Fish - Any good tips for keeping them happy?

[ QUOTE ]
Thank you for all the posts / advice. I learned ALOT from your feedback.

Heading back to the pet store to get a 1 gallon tank (with a tight lid). I'm also going to buy some real...

Re: 200NL, JJ, folding a set again please.

I shove turn here, I think he calls with worse, KQ,KJ,QJ,55. He might call off with a FD too.

As played I don't mind the river fold, his hand looks a lot like T9, maybe KT.

Re: 200NL, KK overpair vs TAG

I stick it in. You're ahead of him if his range is 99-QQ and AQ.

Re: 200NL: Discretion is the better part of valor?

[ QUOTE ]

Any chance he does this with 77-JJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I think there is, I would call here and fold to a strong turn bet or action behind me.

Re: Nl100 short handed vs TAG

I fold preflop, and if I did call preflop I'd fold flop

Re: 200NL, 77, and this is why i don\'t move up

I dont like the river bet because you're ahead of a missed flush draw so theres no point folding it out. I doubt youre folding anything else out.

If you really think he was drawing I would check...

Re: tough spot vs willw9

I think he is more likely to have you beaten/flipping then have nothing. The reason being there are 2 people behind him. If you were UTG and bet, 2 people folded then he raised I think his range is a...

Re: flopped two pair on dangerous board

I would fold AJo PF here. I think against that sort of player, you want hands that make very strong hands, not TP type hands. The reason being it's already multiway and you are OOP so playing one...

Re: 3 barrell bluff...where did I go wrong?

You didn't necessarily go wrong anyway. A bluff isn't supposed to make your opponent fold, it's supposed to make your opponent fold a certain range of hands. The nuts obviously isn't one of them. Who...

Re: 200NL - Interesting flop spot I think

I think your range is pretty close. Maybe AKs sometimes as well. I would bet here and expect to take it down the vast majority of the time.

he'll prob. put in a reasonable bet if i check. after he calls he's got an overpair or tptk most likely, maybe tens, he respects my flop bet since my image is really solid.

Re: big draw rr pot

You're right, didn't realise you were over 2 buyins deep. I would go for the check/raise, you're definitely deep enough to get him to fold TPTK or an overpair. If he calls, you've still got equity.

Re: big draw rr pot

If you check, does he check behind often? I think the only thing you can do is shove if he wont check. You aren't deep enough to c/r him with any fold equity. If you are going to bet the flop, I...

Re: 200nl - AK turns top two pair, but... ugh.

Best case scenario, you're chopping here. If you call turn, you probably have to call river too. I would pay this off the first time and note how he plays sets. If you think he's got it, fold the...

Re: River bet for value...or not!

I would bet the flop and turn closer to pot size.

Given your read, check the river to induce a bluff. He isn't going to call with a busted draw, which is what you think he has.

Re: 100NL - 6 max - TPTK line

Flop bet is definitely too weak. There is a flush draw there so don't let them draw for free. I would bet at least $9.

The only draw got there on the turn, but he could still have KQ or KJ which...

Re: big draw rr pot

I would C/R this AI. Your equity is great against everything, but you make more if they fold to your shove.

Re: 100NL - 6 max - Flopped set but flush scare card on river

I just can't fold this against a bet that small. I would pay it off. He was only getting 3-1 on the turn so if you call here he gets exactly 4.5-1 which is the odds against him making the flush. In...

Re: 100 NL, AA

I don't think a 19/13 is doing this with TT. This is a flip or you're way behind. I would tend to let it go.

Re: 100NL is TP good enough to call in this spot?

I think I would fold this. Sure this guy isn't very good at poker, but you really don't beat much and you aren't getting good odds on a call.

Re: AA 300bb deep, 100nl

I think you can fold the river. I can't see him playing AK like this, and your hand is pretty much face up.

Re: AJ 3 bets PF - rivers 2 pr but I face a massive ch/r Deep

Your hand really looks like 1 pair. It sounds like he knows this so couldn't he be doing this with any two?

In addition, I would think that he can have QJs/J8s/86s/A8s/A6s all of which you beat....
