Re: 200NL | KQs every street debatable

My default play against TAG would be just to cold call in position here. As played however, I am definately betting this flop to around pot size and take it down right there.

The benefits of...

Re: 100NL: AQ against flop minraise

[ QUOTE ]
On second thought, anybody like a smallish raise here to between $25-35? If villain 3bets, we probably get away cheaper than we would have if we call a bet on the river. Also, if he did...

Re: Moving up to 100 and 200, what to expect?

[ QUOTE ]
From 50 to 100, I noticed a dramatic increase in lagtards. There isn't a particularly major improvement in the quality of play. In alot of ways it's worse. Some guys, especially regulars,...

Re: 100NL: AQ against flop minraise

[ QUOTE ]
Call and re-evaluate on river. Raising and folding are pretty much out of the question.

[/ QUOTE ]

Please expand on why raising is a mistake.

Re: River decision with KK vs Unknown

[ QUOTE ]
I definitely bet/fold the turn against this guy. As played please call river

[/ QUOTE ]

Completely agree with this, but here is my two cents:

Lets say villian is standard ABC...

Re: $100NL. KK in BB facing raise and reraise. Plan?

QQ I make it $60

KK I shove
AA I may shove and sometimes smooth call.

Re: QQ faces small 4 bet

Do you have villains aggression factor? I am wondering if we can play this for set value, as it will be 39 to call and he has $665 remaining. Since he seems like a decent TAG I guess that is why...

Re: NL 100 TP on scary board.

[ QUOTE ]
I hate 3betting ATo for these kind of situation. Since his calling range will consist of AJ/AQ/AK/KQ/KJ/KT and also a [censored] load of hands. I rather look for a better spot. You will...

Re: 1/2 JJ overpair totally lost

Nothing new from me here. I like a call preflop for set value as some others have said, and as played I would definately continue my aggression on the flop, for around a pot sized bet ($40-48),...

Re: $100NL. TT vs. Fish

[ QUOTE ]
Villain in this hand is a massive fish. I have like 8 hands on him and he is 62/13.

[/ QUOTE ]

8 hands (even 50 hands) of 62/13 doesnt tell me anything. Maybe 100 hands you can...

Re: 200NL TP vs o-raise from button regular/tag

Preflop: I really dont like the cold call OOP with a trouble broadway hand such as KQo. Either re-pop him or fold.

As played, your opponent has fired 3 times in a row and you hold one pair ok...

Re: 100NL - catch a set, scary river

[ QUOTE ]
You can't always fear the flush, although it's pretty likely here.

I think we are good 40%+ish of the time here, which is all we need.

[/ QUOTE ]

Awesome, I agree.

Re: 100NL - catch a set, scary river

Math: Your getting 1.32 on the call, your break even point is being ahead 43% of the time.

SB's action: Called a button raise with one limper, called a 2/3 pot bet on the turn. Donkbets just...

Re: NL100 KK hits hard in RR 3-way pot. How to get monet?

I bet more on flop like $40 here into two opponents. If the flush draw is out there I like to extract more from them, they will call $40 with AhXh just as fast as $30 as an example.

Re: Top two versus tag and unknown... flop action?

Yeah, I think since SB is all in, just in case we are behind I think we need to call and allow MP to put in more money, with the intent of putting the rest in later.

Villian could easily have a...

Re: Line check. 100NL 6max. 3 hands.

Hand 1: I'm not a real fan of going into call down mode, so I think a raise somewhere is good, maybe the turn. At the end, the only hand I would fear is 56 if I knew villian would lead the flop...

Re: KK OOP Tough River decision ($200)

Bet more on the flop 3/4 to pot size to give draws worse odds.

Bet more on the flop 3/4 to pot size as that card was a complete blank imo, for same reasons above.

I cant read the river action...

I post for two reasons:

1) initial loose image
2) I usually raise from the CO post with wider range as a steal, and people think raising from a post is strong

Are there any filters in PT to...

Re: Two limpers, JJ faces re-raise on 9TQ board

Yes, it makes heart suited connectors possible involving Jh like AJs, KJs, QJs, JTs (which could all be in his preflop limping range).

Re: Villian 3 barrels me when i have an OP .5/1

yeah I definately don't think the third barrell is a bluff hence 'not likely' but thanks for bringing that good point up.

Re: Two limpers, JJ faces re-raise on 9TQ board

I dont like the push just because the board is flush coordinated and we dont hold Jh. I think the line of call raise, push non heart turn would be the best. How much FE do you think we have though...

Re: Villian 3 barrels me when i have an OP .5/1

I would suggest a possible re-raise IP here on the CO to $10 planning on making a pot sized on a good board (ie. rainbow board with maybe one over card, cards lower than 8).

Your really in a tough...
