Re: NL10 - I played like a man and a girl all in the same hand (river

[ QUOTE ]

my hand isn't great either

I think I can take my hand to Valuetown when needed.

The PF raise in my mind is +EV but is probably thin.

Re: 25NL - need a line, JJ 3bpf, cc by 2p2er

you have to fire once at this. you have the betting lead so try to pick this pot up.

like kaz said check/call is worst. i favor a lead over ch/f slightly.

Re: should i double barrel

I would say that this is not a good spot to double barrel. If he is 44/5 it seems that he may be passive post flop as well. A loose passive player like this probably doesn't even know what floating...

Re: TPTK in general

Even if in your example he was leading into you with a set of 4s or 8s, I'm still raising this up to like 42BB and ready to call a push given the stack sizes. You will see weaker Qs and sometimes TT...

Re: UTG discussion

fold, raise, fold

22+, A9s+, AJo+, KQo+

I don't like playing SCs OOP. I'm like 20/16 and 12.5/12.5 from UTG this month.

KQ TP2K facing minraise in RR pot

Villian is virtually unknown. 32/30 over just 50 hands, but seems like he knows what he's doing. My image is good, so I was just looking to resteal his BTN raise. Flop looks good til I face the...

KQ TP2K runs into trouble on turn

Villian is 27/12/1.5 through 125 hands. Has been pretty quiet so far. Push or fold?

Re: PNL Study Group Day 2: Stack Sizes

[ QUOTE ]

In any case, even when we are faced with extremely bad players we need to adjust properly. If we make -EV plays even the fact that our opponent is bad won't help us.

Re: 10nl: overpair against a 90/43/1.7

shove flop

as played shove turn

happy to get it in with an overpair here as the villian is a 90/43 and would probably re raise any pair so the worst possible outcome is 78 or 54. 65 is...

Re: NL200 - NFD+pair in multiway pot Easy raise/call push or spew?

I like this. Would you take the same line if you setted a 22 or 33?

Re: Professional No-Limit Hold \'em Study Group Day 1

The picture changes a bit once we are up against more aggressive players. They will often know about the "standard" nature of the raise/cbet line and call flop bets liberally in order to...

Re: NL25: trouble playing middle pocket pairs. How to play?

In my experience I've found at these limits to just make a CB on a flop with 1 over, sometimes bet with 2 overs against tighter players who might also be playing PP. Usually shut down on the turn if...

Re: $10NL 6-Max: Flop top 2, faced with re-raise

You really can't put this villian on JJ, QQ, or AA. KT is the only hand we're behind and even then we still have outs. Against this LAGgy opponent get it all in on this flop always.

Re: $5NL 6-Max, AA line against villain with not much of a read

bet the turn and bet pretty heavily...$1.25 to $1.35...you don't want to give him a cheap price to draw for that 3rd spade, which seems to be his likely holding. It is also possible that he is...
