Re: A-K - late in tourney

i'd say get it in there!

below i pokerstove'd possible ranges for the button and the sb. in reality, i think that these ranges are, likely, quite tight and are not truly accurate of the opponents...

Re: final table bodog 20k 1010 utg

i'm not sure it's 3-handed, i think he may have edited/simplified the HH, but regardless of the number of players, it's go-time

Re: 10 + 1 5k : Two spots I butchered post flop

hand 1: i probably wouldve made a much larger reraise. idk how much, but probably enough where i was calling even if he shoved. the advice on this forum is always to play AK much stronger than i...

Re: $11 AA scary board

agreed.

the board isnt that scary..YET so i think you need to punish him good if he's drawing, and if he outflopped you or gets lucky, so it goes.

Re: 50r bubble I aint never scared neither

if the villian has been raising liberally since you got close to the bubble, i shove. even if he's pushing only a little hard and raising something like, {22+, ATo+, A8s+, KJo+, JTs+} then you're...

Re: $11 First hand JJ

i think that your bet (in relation to your previous bets) is too large considering the scary nature of the river card. the only hand that you can beat which i think will call you is KJ or maybe KT. ...

Re: ATo with 10 BB - 5.50 regular on PokerStars

ive been opening a lil bit too loose i think. (i think i'll usually fold this, but if it's a standard fold wo/ a doubt, other plays i make are probably weak)

villain flat called your correct flop bet. you are way ahead or way behind on turn. now you have a hand so now it is correct to check.

Re: Aces up early in 2nd chance

i think you need to bet the flop.
from my experience the snap call (unless from a superfish)
does NOT mean strength--it usually means "im too proud to fold and my hands too weak to RR.
It could...

Re: AA in BB. Sized Flop Bet Right?

i guess your opponent had a pair and a gutshot, which he made to win?

I think that for your stack, the flop bet is either too big or two small. i'd either shove the flop or better smaller to make...

Re: Meh, jam w/ AQ here? Stars $25

If he's been active with little opposition, he may begin opening lighter. Regardless of whether or not that was the case, I probably shove here. I'm a little curious to know how many players were...

Re: Early hand Stars $320 vs Bill Ivey

I'm a SSMTT guy but was looking around up here and just popped in and saw your post. I'm not sure the ebb and flow of the higher stakes MTTs roll, but I'm confused as to why you played your hand so...

Re: Blinds stealing late stages of the tournament

obv it depends, but if the blinds are relatively weak and i don't appear to be a superdonk i don't mind shoving any suited 2-gapper or small pair. i, usually, won't shove with atc unless one of the...

Re: Did I play it badly?

[ QUOTE ]
I think you can bet less on the turn, but NOT because you can fold if an A falls on the river. I mean sure, you now have the ability to fold the river if Villain hits his two-outer, but...

Re: Turned nuts - C/C on river best option?

btw, i know that completing bets is not smart, but my logic (possibly flawed) was that loose players will pay off more than others if i could make a good hand, thus increasing my implied odds.

Re: Was this a bad time time to resteal

[ QUOTE ]
why is 98s better than Ax suited

[/ QUOTE ]

it's less likely that you'll share a 9 or an 8 with an opponent. MUCH more likely you'll share the A, that's the only reason I think.

Villian in BB has repeatedly shown to be very loose (called one 24xBB All-in w/ J5o)
Button also has been loose, but not as much so as the BB.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big...
