Re: Have a set. Spew?

OP you are supposed to get stacked here - not going broke on this turn is bad play - getting all your chips in on this turn with a set and redraw to a boat is just totally standard. You played this...

Re: Have a set. Spew?

We have a made hand with SD value. Why do we want to turn that hand into a bluff preflop?

I'd consider 3betting for value in position with a small pair - but rarely at 25NL and almost never OOP....

Re: Two KK hands- check back or keep betting?

#1: push preflop OTT of his 4bet

#2: as played fold turn. Villain has a set or AA and we are drawing dead to most of that range and mighty slim to the rest of it and we don't have enough pot odds...

Re: Have a set. Spew?

standard.

Hello "Stack-a-donk".

I'd re-raise the flop (bet/3b line) cos if I can get all the monies in then I have better equity than I do on the turn - but this is fine as played.

Re: Told you I was running bad

No TAG is going to be folding the river if they called the turn raise from Villains POV. (or probably shouldn't be)

Just valueshove river with your straight set as Villain and get well paid.

Re: KK is 3bet allin to CB

beat his chips into the pot with your SNAP call.

Your flop bet is too big and your preflop raise is too small.

~$8.50 preflop - and bet 1/2 - 2/3 at the very most on the flop.

Re: 66 - playing in rr pot with no set

call preflop - bloating the pot OOP vs this guy with a small pair is not a good idea.

Re: NL 50- Good spot for 2nd barrel?

I think 4bb is too much - 3bb is a pot sized raise and means villain has to call 2bb into a 4bb pot.

4bb costs you money in the long run all the times you get raised and have to fold - or miss the...

Re: 50 NL- Slowplayed to Death?

raise flop to ~$10

raise more on the turn (~$16 is good as played - we want to make it close to a pot sized raise)

then we can call river - as played river is an easy fold.

Re: 50NL: Just giving up in 3b pot when cb is called

[ QUOTE ]
think about the range that a 17/13 is cold calling a 3 bet pre flop with. I'd say 1010+, maybe AK. Now look at the board. What hands in villian's range is he check folding on this flop?...
