Re: NL$200| QQ - Committed but his line is very strong!

Thanks Jeff, interesting reading and I've enjoyed your contribution. Pretty pissed right now so will re-read tomorrow when I can absorb your most recent post a little better.

I can certainly...

No, I'd go higher than 7 if I intended to brag. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: NL$200| QQ - Committed but his line is very strong!

Jeff, I take your points and don't disagree as such but I think you are maybe seeing things as a little too cut and dry. First off against Bil my range isn't as tight as you might think here. He...

If you are not willing to stack off on the turn (which is the same as stacking off on the river), then I don't think you should bet the turn.

This is all true, but it should also tell you something about your turn bet, as this really isn't any different from a turn check/raise.

Re: NL$200| QQ - Committed but his line is very strong!

I guess $50 on the turn would have done but I felt that he probably had 1010-JJ and knew that if I could get him to call the $65 he'd relut-a-call a river push. That was the plan. However, I never...

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

NFuego20, don't beat yourself up too much. Narena's river play is actually very good because it forces you into a spot where you'll fold a wide range of hands but at the same time suckers the spaz...

NL$200| QQ - Committed but his line is very strong!

Villain is Bil Ivy and he is: 17/9/1.4

Bil generally doesn't seen to tangle with me much so I'm guessing he largely looks to avoid me unless he has a hand. Thoughts on my fold?

Full Tilt...

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

I raise more preflop (but I'd raise more no matter what hand I was raising in this pos/circumstance) and I bet the turn as well. I don't want to lose value from the muppet (cause he'll call...

Re: NL100: blind battle flopped aces up line check

This hand is played perfectly if you now call river. No need to bet that flop, absolutely MUST call the turn as played and should USUALLY call the river without a specific read or very worrying Hud...

Re: 200 NL - Some Hands

Just realized s/s in hand 1. Makes my min-raise suggestion a little pointless probably. Thus if you think he's weak on the turn and committed himself then I'd push - he's crap so he'll call light...

Re: 200 NL - Some Hands

Hand 1: Call and assess turn. If he bets strong you should probably fold. If he bets fairly weak I like a min-raise. The raise is two fold. If he pushes over it you can fold with ease as you are...

Re: This is why I hate AK....

I'll sometimes fold preflop and wait for a better spot. Our hand range UTG is pretty transparent. If his 3-bet range is wide enough then I'd 4-bet push. The problem with 4-betting like this is...

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100

Another point is this:

I'm sitting in BB and solid regular with high steel raises first in from the BTN. I hold A9s in the BB and fold. Do you think I don't know that A9s is ahead of his BTN...

In some ways this relates to Renton's recent post about disguising hands with similar lines. If you shove, you are playing with your cards face up, which is never a good thing. If you...

Re: NL$200| Do I let drunkenboxer off the hook?

Boxer would c/f AK if I call. He'll also fold AK to a shove preflop. The more I think about it the more I know the only correct play vs this villain is to call. I guess it's sort of reverse tilt...
