Re: Couple Hands With Lucky_Wins 1/2 NL

Hand 1: Since you have some history with villain, it seems like villain either has a really big hand (JJ+/Set) or really big bluff given the stack sizes.

Hand 2: Villain is doing a bluff-raise...

Re: NL 100 KK meh hand

Villain and your stats?

Given villain's play I don't think he is going anywhere with his hand. The only hands I can put him on GIVEN this action is a made flush/big pair/set/pair+FD.

If...

Re: discuss a strange hand?

Weird hand! Villain is semi-loose with high post-flop aggression. I believe villain had either set/nfd on flop. Obv, river fold is a NFD.

What was your stats?

Re: 100nl really weird spot.

I think the turn call is the best you could've done to not blow up pot with a one pair hand. After turn, as played, your hand is transparent to villain now. The insta-check by villain on river...

Re: .5/1NL facing weird river push

Turn check is fine. As played, fold river.

Villain probably has a hand QQ+ or possibly set/quad.

Live 1/2 NL at Mont Bleu in Lake Tahoe

Table is 9 handed. The game has been playing super loose (not so aggressive). Villain in hand is loose-aggressive, smart and tricky.

Hero ($310)
Villain (~$500)
Other players at the table have...

Re: Screwed this one up, 200/400 vs UrinDanger

Given how the hand was played (flop and turn bet is probably the best you could have done to give yourself a chance to win the pot). I think one good play on the river is the 2 Second Pause-Min...

Re: 12 tabling .10/.25 NL

It was generated by a program I made for computer graphics research, basically we were trying to model the interaction of various liquids with certain properties.

Re: 12 tabling .10/.25 NL

Do you have a blogspot?

Is this 16 ptbb/100 or 16bb/100? Last month I ran at 5 ptbb/100 over 15k hands on stars and it was a waste of my time so I quit poker (at party I ran at 15ptbb/100 over...

Re: Poopers is Prahlad?

I don't think it is him since the city in his Stars profile is Vallejo (city in Northern California/Bay Area California).

Re: Easy call or easy fold?

Thanks.

In hand #1 I didn't know the correct raise. Is there a nice way to calculate the optimal raise with the first hand.

In hand #2 is a fold also correct given the people behind me are...

Good or bad?

Villain likes to limp-call raises and is somewhere around 33/5. He has min-raised me two times in position and has done a few block bets on scary boards (all of which he lost). I have definitely...

($??) Did I play this wrong?

Before this hand occurred SB had amassed a huge stack and began bullying the table 4-handed. I was in a tough spot because he was to my right and a weak tight player was to my left. Also, in the...

Re: 10/20 300bb semibluff... bluff

Must be fishing on the turn? I think villain picked up a flush draw on the turn with an AK/AQ/AJ spade hand or he has a pair like 88 or below. My feeling is leaning towards a picked up draw on the...

Re: Brag: $100k December

Nice job cts. Do you mind putting a couple thousand hands at micro NL (25NL or 50NL) in your free time? It would be interesting to see some stats there.

Re: 50NL | looooooooool at bluffing at 50NL

How many times do you try this? If you don't do it too often you might be able to get away with it. I guess BB probably has a hand like QJ/AT/PP?
