Re: 200NL KK in a tough spot
If you are going to fold to a c-bet on the flop because you are afraid of AA then you should just fold preflop and save $20.
I would just push preflop.

Re: Please change the FAQ on bankroll requirements.
This is a fantastic post.
The key point is that a players bankroll should be a function of win rate, standard deviation (volatility in their play), and comfort level.
We could build a simple...

Re: JJ on the bubble???
Did you mean JJ on the button?
You are playing four handed right? What are the blinds? It is difficult to answer this question without knowing the what the blinds are.
Assuming that blinds...

Re: AA, how much do u bet here and what if raised....?
OK. When I first saw this post I had a response all typed up that basically said: Bet $27 and protect your hand. This is almost certainly what I would have done live.
Now I have been reading...

Re: AA, how much do u bet here and what if raised....?
I would check to keep the pot small and would reevaluate on the river.
I would lean towards calling pot sized bets on the river and fold to larger bets. The problem is that there are too many...

You need to bet the flop. I would bet around 65-70.

Re: NL200: AA Turn decision
This looks good to me.
I hate playing aces out of position after the flop. It is really difficult to know where you stand and the pots get very big.
As far as range I wouldn't be surprised if...

Re: Is it possible to win at $100 NL playing this way?
I think that you are proposing to use this strategy as a "safe"/"cheap" way to get your feet wet and learn how to play the game.
I think that it is a bad plan. You will playing so few hands that...

Re: yo check it...I HAVE A PAIR! YES THATS RIGHT..THE TOP PAIR !
I think that you are WA/WB. I would call. I think that the villain was making a 1/3 pot blocking bet with a weak queen or an underpair of some kind hoping for a cheap showdown.
I don't think that...

Re: Struggling to Settle @ 100NL
Here is my general advice: I would fold both of these hands on the flop.
Now I know that I definitely fold too much; however, the people playing 100NL call way way too much. I take shots at...

Thanks for the feedback. This was a really oddly played hand by me that's why I posted it. I didn't particularly like the play either but wanted some extra opinions.
So, on the turn you would...

Re: KQ call down or fold
I would agree 100% with your reasoning if you were heads up. In this situation, on the flop, you have one more player behind you. This player cold called pre-flop and then called the 3-bet.
If...

Re: 5/10 AQs - use of relative position
