IS THIS A LEAK

I've been losing for about 15k hands now... actually running about 49% W$SD with AA and KK. My sets are at about 60% W$SD too...

Anyway, should I be calling down here much? Or like, c/c after the...

A pretty bad player who is friends with my roommate wants me to stake him with the following deal, I pay 100% of his buy-ins and he gives me 90% of his return.

He lives close and is a little b****...

Re: post some random stats from 2007 other than earnings

Since Aug 1st I've played 121k hands of limit on stars (also played on 2 other sites, a bunch of SNGs and some MTTs).

I've made more with 88 than 99.
I've made more with KQs than AKs.
I've lost...

Toll Booth Operator leaves much to the imagination

My friend and I were recently driving back into Boston and discussing whether or not there were stairs under the toll booth stations. I was pretty sure there aren't but decided to check with the toll...

Re: Big call vs bigjoe2003, how bad is this really?

1) he's not pushing ATC, more like 70%.
2) AKo is a +EV call against 40% - 80% pushing range, according to SNG wizard.
3) it is a losing call against 100%, but he admitted he doesn't push 100%...

Re: How do you handle guys on \"Sit Out\"

u should just loosen your pushing ranges significantly, but not ATC, because they will all pick up on this concept.

Re: Official: I suck, I run bad, I lose money, whatever thread.

I think I run pretty bad these days. I learned all the odds and got SNG wizard and my ROI is just dropping by the day, from 15% to 10% in a week.

Oh also I took my first shot at a $555 SNG, it...

Re: Big call vs bigjoe2003, how bad is this really?

I just downloaded SNG wizard and I was incorrect about a few things, although you may have been as well.

If you're pushing your between 40 and 80%, this is a +EV call. and really, based on what...

Re: Big call vs bigjoe2003, how bad is this really?

I didn't really know at the time it was a -ev play, I've just recently gotten into the equity math and all, and don't have any of those programs. I'm pretty sure most players would call AKo here,...

Re: stars payout structure

I think first and second should both be half as much and then more than 2 people could actually make some money.

it cost you the $37 plus future ev because you would still have been chipleader on the bubble, the other two short stacks would have been whittled down to almost nothing before one went...

when he loses I get the majority of his lost equity, but when I lose, I lose quite a bit myself. The average for me is -$37 if I'm 60/40, or -$.7 if I'm 65/35 (or something...

If he was in the SB I'd snap call because you'll be subject to him pushing relentlessly the next few hands. Since you are on his right you'll be able to shove in front of him...

Re: Yes or no, push +EV?

I just did the math and its something like +1cent EV, although I didn't take into account the scenerio where the BTN calls cause that makes it too complicated.

I don't like your call, you almost guaranteed to be in the money why risk ur big stack with just an unpaired card? you know your AK is only 2 to 1 fav. against ATC? I don't even call there...

It's definately a quandary... the problem with it all is that they are giving up much less to spite call you than you lose when they call you. So the only retaliation that doesn't simply grant them...

JDalla, why are you assuming 60/40 when AKo is 65/35 vs random and you are suggesting his range might be worse off than ATC?

Fev = future equity (which I have due to 2 poor players with short stacks).

My equity: $699.8 + Fev
Joe's...

Re: 27: TT overpair vs unknown level 1

there are so many goons at 27 level though, a donk here could incite a push from some AK/AQ garbage. So you have to go broke on a 7 high turn if you call this much preflop, unless you know the...
