Re: PLO100 - turn the nut straight, value bet backdoor flushing river?

If villain is overaggressive consider betting 20 $ and calling when he bluff pushes top two.

That play works amazingly often against donks who do not know the trick.

If you plan to fold to...

Re: 10/20 flop a little bit of everything in multiway pot

I think Buttons check-raise calling range is something like KK**,JJ**,88**,Ac*c**,KJ**,AQT9. Hero is 53% favorite even against that range. But I think Button will fold at least 25 % of the time if...

Lets say it's checked to an aggro button who pots it.

This seems like a good hand to lose a lot of money on. You don't have top pair, no ten and aren't drawing...

Re: 10/20 flop a little bit of everything in multiway pot

I would prefer leading out 60-70 % of the pot if it suits your playing style. (I play several hands with 60-70 % bets as well when money is deep enough.) You can commit all of your chips against one...

Re: Bankroll for shortstacking?

I usually start playing with 40 BB and have had many 1000 - 1500 BB downswings. I play levels PLO400-PLO1000 6max. My ptBB/100 is around 3. VP%IP = 32, PFR =17.

Re: Line check with AAxx

You should usually fold flop. You have marginal hand out of position. Overpair is not a hand to play big pots when money is deep.

I do not like your move unless pre-flop raiser is very aggressive...

Re: A-Q-x flop holding QQ line?

Villain potted pre-flop and pots semi-dangerous flop without K of diamonds or set of queens into 2 players. Usually villain has ace.

High card hands are usual raising hands pre-flop. I think big ...

I actually don't mind calling and then c/r turn. I know a lot of people are going to hate it, but think about what hand UTG+1 is repping?

Re: Pretty Interesting 10/20 hand

Shove turn, you have good hand against his range. I do not like calling since he can have overpair + flush draw combo.

Re: line w/ top 2 here?

You are small favorite or big dog.

Unless Villain is very aggressive, you should fold.

Re: Flopped pair, gutshot, and two backdoor flush draws against overpa

If you call re-raise pre-flop you get it all-in on flops like this. You should lead flop.

Pre-flop raise from EP is questionable. Calling re-raise is also questionable, but not awful.

Re: 10/20... Another Turn Question

So you have no history and you 3-bet pre-flop. It looks like to IamNotSoGood like you probably have big pair.

You bet flop and get raised and just call. When you get raised you can usually assume...

Re: 100PLO trip aces weak kicker flop AAQ

Betting is fine.

When you get raised you should fold and move to next hand. You are very likely behind and possibly drawing dead.

Re: 100PLO: Standard flop shove?

Best option is to shove. Your hand is strong. Your raise can make BB release top two.

Gambling is fun. And you make whole bunch of g-bucks when you play actively.

Re: PL $1/2 - clean up outs, or....?

I would usually raise flop.

Since you called flop, you should push turn. You have strong hand.

These kind of hands are key to success in Omaha, you have give heat when you have goods.

Re: 6-max PLO preflop starting requirements.

[ QUOTE ]
Obviously one has to loosen up preflop in the 6-max games, but I'm not sure just how loose I should be.

Dry pairs such as QQxx and JJxx in EP?

Fold.

You should repop AA82r if you are pretty sure that pot will be heads up. Your hand is plays well heads up, but it not clear favorite in multi-way all-in. One suit or better side cards would make...

Re: deep river spot with \"obvious\" aces $10-$20

If deep villain can lay down hands you could re-raise all-in. River bet smells like blocking bet with trips, straight or flush. But it is risky move and requires good reads.

Folding is more solid...
